Summary: No reviews on the best music DVD this year????
Review: I picked this DVD up yesterday because Stones Throw is a decent label, with the exception of some artist on the roster i'm just not feelin, but that aside, they got Lootpack, Madvillain, Oh No (who unfortunatley isn't on here)Lord Quas, and much much more. With this DVD you get a great collection of videos from a Charizma joint from like 1992, to Madvillain "Rhinestone Cowboy" from 2004. I liked just about every video on here except for the Gary Wilson song which is incredibley irritating, whoever listens to this guy and calls what he does music needs to gargle some broken glass. The EXtra Credit addition to the DVD is pretty cool also, its a little short but its dope to see clips of DOOM, Madlib and company crate digging and what not. The Mix CD that you get with this is okay, nothing to write home to mom about. I would definitley recomend this DVD to anyone into hip hop at all regardless if you were familiar with Stones Throw or not.

Summary: Good summary of Stones Throw
Review: This DVD basically summarizes the entire diverse Stones Throw roster. The music videos are all dope, and the extras are cool, but not great. The mix CD has 40-something of some of the best songs Stones Throw has put out, but since it's only one CD the tracks are basically cut in half. It isn't necessarily a bad thing though, and the CD flows nicely, but if you were hoping for full songs, you're out of luck. Stones Throw offers something for anyone, and this DVD is no exception. Pick it up.
