Summary: Wolf Trap Live: Best Entertainment Value For Your Money
Review: After watching the Wolf Trap Live DVD for the 14th time, I still can't get enough of it! This concert includes 23 songs and is beautifully mastered in both sound and cinematography. It is without a doubt, the Doobie Brothers' finest performance ever. In one of the special feature interviews, Tom Johnston states, "we practice alot these days." Well, Mr. Johnston, it shows. Every song is played tightly and precisely yet mingled with an easiness and playfulness that can only come from professionals who have honed their craft to perfection. The Doobie Brothers were awesome in the 70's but in my opinion, have only recently reached the pinacle of music success with this DVD. Other 70's bands seem to have declined through the years but, not the Doobies. They have aged like fine wine. Take my advise and beat the winter blues: make this DVD part of your collection as soon as possible. You have no idea what you are missing out on until you experience it.

Summary: This DVD rocks!
Review: As the Director of this project, I wanted to share how special this DVD is. First it is from a great night for the band. They tore down the sold out house at Wolf Trap, and that is evident in every frame. Technologically, we did a big 10 camera Hi-definition shoot, so the clarity is awesome. There is two hours of music. The legendary Ed Cherney did the audio mixes, so the sound is HOT. In terms of the special features, the DVD is packed. First the band members actually host the menu pages! Then we have a very cool interactive feature. At the beginning of five songs, a small icon of either Tom Johnston or Pat Simmons appears for ten seconds. When you press enter during that time, the video cuts to Tom or Pat explaining the process of writing that song! Also, the special features include a very cool 30 minute interview-profile with the band. There are a couple of fun surprise special features as well. If you like the Doobies, you will love this DVD!

Review: From the opening track "Rockin' Down the Highway to the final encore of "Listen to the Music" this concert dvd is outstanding. The Doobies can still rock the crowd and the venue at Wolf Trap is a great place for filming a concert like this, If you are a Doobie Brothers fan this is a must!

Summary: I love it
Review: The Doobie Brothers have always been one of my favourite bands and although we haven't seen them live in Australia for awhile this concert shows me that they are still going great.Long time members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons are clearly still enjoying themselves and give it everything and the sound is brilliant.A great addition to this Cd is the amount of guitar pickin songs (as Tommy calls them)big highlight being 'Steamer Lane Breakdown'If you are a Doobies fan you have to have this one and grag that 'Rockin Down the highway ' DVD while you're at it

Summary: A Review From Someone Who Was There.....
Review: This DVD goes a long way towards capturing the electricity that the band ("they ain't related but they Doo-bie Brothers") generated that night. As anyone who has been to Wolf Trap knows, it is usually quite a sedate crowd. That night, however, the Brothers had the crowd on their feet almost the entire night, singing, clapping and ROCKING. It was one of the most fun concerts I have been to in many years.

Summary: Doobies do wolftrap
Review: This dvd has great visuals as it should for being shot in this location. The sound is tight for the instruments but Tom Johnston's voice is lost on most of his lead vocals. The mix does not pick up his voice clearly on all tracks but the harmonies are great. The only other thing that bothered me on this dvd is the pausing and introductions between songs. 3.5 stars!

Summary: HD transfer - DTS....
Review: This is the best ever from the Doobies. Great HD/video transfer and of course a DTS soundtrack. Rockin down the highway as good as it gets. If you like the Doobies - this is a must have...

Summary: Doobie Brothers DVD rocks the Wolftrap!
Review: WOW what a concert. They never sounded better and sure look like they are having a blast doing it. Hard rock sets, along with accoustic and blues set off a nice mix of songs. I highly recommend this DVD. A CD is also available for cruising in your ride.
