Summary: Wishbone Ash 20th Anniversary Concert
Review: The Wishbone Ash 20th Anniversary Concert was part of a made-for-tv series of classic rock legends filmed at a small theatre in England. The sound quality is excellent. The picture quality is very good with some nice close ups although a few less camera angle shifts and a few more shots of the entire band would have made for better viewing. The cream is the group and song selection. The show features the original lineup of Andy Powell (the only member of the 2002 lineup), Martin Turner, Ted Turner, and Steve Upton.

The video runs at an even 50 minutes with a few "new" songs intermixed with great renditions of the King Will Come, Blowin' Free, and an ending medley of early hits. Ted Turner's guitar playing is wonderful, making it seem like he never left the band or the circuit. The entire "Classic Rock Legends" looks to be an interesting series. This DVD includes trailers for many other videos in the series, showing the viewer enough to make a decision on whether to buy them.

Summary: The Original Wishbone Ash Reunited, Live in the UK, 1989
Review: This is an absolutely phenominal DVD by one of the greatest bands ever! The song selection is excellent.Any fan of the band will be thrilled by the songs played. People unfamiliar with Wishbone Ash will be blown away by stellar performances of many of their best songs. The sound is very good. The camera work, ditto. My only complaint is the same as my critiques of the shows I saw on this tour: the show was not long enough, and the band doesn't get a chance to really stretch out on the long improvizations for which they are so renowned. Still, this DVD is better than 99% of the musical DVD's out there. Buy this bargain now. You will not be disappointed!
