Summary: Poor Editing Spoils the Show
Review: After waiting for three months the video was a disappointment mainly due to poor editing unlike the other smokey dvd this one leaves you wanting there is an absence of feeling with you and the show and anyone who has ever been to a smokey robinson concert knows that you are a big part of the show, and we will not even ask why more love is called my love and countless other mispellings of his lyrical masterpieces it would seem that someone didn't do their homework and by not doing it has screwed up a historic musical event, smokey is one of the few original motowners left and he deserved much better than this shoddy job. But for the true diehard fans like myself a taste of smokey is better than none at all.

Summary: Smokey is still Smokey -- Superb!
Review: Although some of the names of the songs were mispelled and/or mistitled on the listing, and the editing and lighting was not the best on this DVD, Smokey Robinson is still No. 1 when it comes to singing his soulful hits. His smooth voice can still set one's soul on fire. I really enjoyed watching Smokey's performance and cannot wait for another DVD or video to become available. In my opinion, only the editing and typographical errors keeps this product from rating 5 stars. The overall performance is vintage Smokey Robinson!

Review: I have been a Smokey fan for many many years. I have a large collection of his music. He has been blessed with a unique voice. I have seen Smokey's performance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania several years ago, and he was absolutely fantastic. Recently I watched his Standing Room Only Concert on DVD/and I have to agree with some viewers. There were techincal and editing difficulties. Overall Smokey's performance was fantastic. He is a great songwriter/producer/singer. I recommend purchasing this DVD. This is truly a classic. Smokey is of all time. Looking forward to something new from you SMOKEY!!! Love ya

Review: This is the 2nd live Smokey Robinson show now commercially available on DVD. The 1990 show from Atlantic City is classic Smokey, but is uneven due to poor editing which took out the patter and intros that set up the next song. Freeze frame transitions with dubbed in applause make you wonder what you missed. Examples: At one point his tie vanishes without a trace. Fortunately, it did not re-appear in a later track! A requested song "Starting Here and Now" jumps in without the request. These editing errors put a crimp in the enjoyment of what appears to have been a great show. Better than no video, but could have been a five star rating with proper editing, i.e. letting the show run like you were in the audience.
