Summary: Not really needed.
Review: Buy an audio CD of Kitaro. That's enough. Nothing special with DVD. Kitaro's music is good but in this DVD you only see the face of Kitaro and instruments. My idea is; its better to buy Kitaro' s Audio CD. In fact I am using this DVD as an audio CD. I close the monitor and listen to music only.

Summary: Un CD en un DVD
Review: Como siempre la música de Kitaro siempre increíble, pero este DVD desperdicia la capacidad de imagen completamente para convertirse desgraciadamente en un buen CD de música.

Summary: Simply Fantastic!
Review: Even though technical quality of this dvd in both video & audio is under average, this one still deserves more than five stars. The music is simple but beautiful and inspiring, and is like a symphonic poem. The rendition is wonderfully done using synthesizers, various kinds of drums including traditional ones, electric guitar and violin. It's good to see the handsome violinist who always smiles. I think Kitaro is ingenious in mixing music with oriental emotion. So, I'm ready to buy his next dvd; "Enchanted Evening(vol. 1)". Maybe I could say I'm one of Koreans who tend not to be generous to Japanese people because of a sad history in the past between two countries, but now I'd like to recommend any of you to buy this title and watch it especially in the evening or in the middle of the night after darkening your room.

Summary: I think this DVD is good choice...
Review: I'm a fan of Kitaro, i think his music is the best in the wolrd, for the sound, the effects. The Kitaro DVD have a very good image and a good sound but i think the LD version sound a little better, because the bass sound in the LD version sond more "dramatic". The video is very good (like other Pioneer DVD's). about of the "goods" on the DVD... is the same of the LD (no preview, no fotography, only a insert with explanation about the concert)

Summary: Kojiki DVD
Review: It was great to find this DVD after seeing the concert some years back. If you enjoyed the concert you'll love this DVD.
The picture quality is pretty good (looks like it may have been a laser disc?)and is acceptable for DVD.(Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells concert seems to be the best quality I have seen to date) The sound quality would have been better if had been in PCM.But still a great disc.

Summary: Superb music.
Review: Kojiki is definitely one of the most beautiful concerts I've ever heard. Although the DVD does not have a great image quality, it is well worth its content. Seeing Kitaro conducting the other musicians and playing at the same time is amazing. As someone defined above, this is truly a "symphonic poem".

Summary: Buy the CD
Review: Kojiki is one of kitaro's best works.
The Americanization of this Story of the creation of Japan set me off a bit. The CD is much better.

Summary: The vibration of a tale...
Review: This is a story turned into music. You shoud read the story and then try to get the kind of feeling Kitaro had to create this music.
I find this work unique and fascinating. If you practice Tai Chi
some of its parts can be useful for "dancing" that way. I also find some parts good for meditation.
Kitaro is a genious composer and drum player.
The making of a tale in music becomes a legend by istself !!!
