Summary: You will be disappointed!
Review: This 3 hour long concert has a lot of talent, everywhere from pop to classic to rock. That's the problem. There are so many "unique" performers, that you will not get to see your favorites perform more than one or two songs. Most of the chosen songs, are played less upbeat than usual, and do not represent the performers well. Final Thought: Unless you like EVERYTHING from Rickey Martin to Phil Collins, I guarantee you will only appreciate 15 minutes of this DVD. Not recommended.

Summary: Party at the Palace - The Queen's Concerts
Review: This DVD is great. A lot of nice numbers are performed by the very famous musicians. The sound is 2ch only. 5.1ch is not available. I have not seen the Clapton and McCartney's joint performance before. They play While My Guitar Gently Weeps composed by George Harrison. This DVD shows that to me. This is a valuable DVD. I think this is a really rare concert.

Review: THIS IS A GREAT BUY. FOR ME, THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DVD WAS NONE OTHER THAN TONY VINCENT. WITH THE VOICE OF AN ANGEL HE WAS A SURE CROUD PLEASER. HE WAS OF COURSE, THE GUY FROM THE LONDON SHOW WE WILL ROCK YOU AND IN PARTY AT THE PALACE HE WOWS EVERYONE WITH BOHEMIAN RAPSODY (ALONG WITH HANNAH JANE FOX.)
ONCE AGAIN I URGE YOU TO BUY THIS!!!

Review: This was amazing to watch.The highlight was definatly seeing Ozzy Osbourne and Toni Iommi playing Parinoid.I loved this and I think other people will ejoy it!

Summary: Great Concert
Review: This was an excellent concert. I watched it from Green Park when I was in London this summer and it was the best concert I've ever seen. Some people may complain about the "British no-names," but they obviously don't understand that all of Britian are huge fans of the Coors, Atomic Kitten, Will Young, etc. Just remember when buying, this concert was for the people of the UK.

Review: This was truly one of the great nights in British pop/rock history. To the reviewers who can't seem to stretch their musical horizons past the US border...you're missing out on something special over here in jolly old England! Clapton, McCartney, Cocker, Wilson, Ozzy, Rod, Bryan Adams and the rest of the so called "A" team are great as usual but the rest of the "no-name" bands were equally at the top of their game. Will Young (who I was very skeptical of in the beginning) is just a fantastic talent, and although a couple of reviewers have questioned the Coors credentials, I believe that they are every bit as big in the states as they are here in the UK. Tom Jones, who is and has been such an amazing talent throughout the years, gives a fabulous rendition of "You Can Keep Your Hat On" with another up and coming band Blue (of the recent duet fame with Elton John on the hit "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word"). Atomic Kitten??? If you call yourself a red blooded American man, you can't help but be taken with their obvious appeal, not to mention their obvious talent as one of the biggest selling female acts in the UK today. This DVD may be better suited for those individuals who are ready to open their musical horizons to the sound that is coming out of the UK today as well as the fabulous music that has come out throughout the last few decades. Remember, this concert was put on to honor the Queen's golden jubilee and for the British people...and from the opening notes of Brian May's guitar to the closing sing along of "Hey Jude", this concert hits on all cylinders!

Review: we started watching late and we could not turning it off, we went to bed at 230 am.we consisted of a group from 14 years old to 47.it kept getting better and better.more than once i had goose bumps.It is regretful that it is recorded in 2 channels but after making some adjustements it sounded suurprisingly pretty good

Summary: A "must have" for baby-boomers
Review: What an incredible concert! 12,000 people in the garden behind Buckingham Palace and over 1,000,000 gathered outside the Palace. Well over twice as many people as attended the original Woodstock back in '69. OK, I could have done without Ricky Martin and Tom Jones... and what was Tony Bennet doing there? But the rest of the line-up was incredible. Brian May of Queen playing "God Save The Queen" from the roof of Buckingham Palace and Eric Clapton doing "Layla" both gave me goose bumps. Phil Collins played drums for almost everyone. Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart, Steve Winwood, Ray Davies and Ozzie sounded great. Brian Wilson looked more zombied-out than Ozzie and did a great rendition of "Warmth of the Sun" with Clapton. Dame Edna was a hoot! Sir Paul McCartney capped it off with everyone singing along to "Hey Jude". I actually got to be there in person. The concert blew this 50 year old Texas boy away! The DVD makes an excellent keep-sake of my first trip across the big pond...
