Summary: If you love The Who, you will love this movie!
Review: A full length concert film of The Who in their prime. Pete and Keith banter back and forth and at one point Pete even comes over and slaps Keith upside the head! It's hilarious! The music is superb and the camera work is also pretty good. Who fans should, no, MUST have this in their collection.

Summary: pretty good
Review: Actually, this concert is very noisy, but good. Sometimes it becomes repetetive. Anyway, after watching it millions of times, I definetly disagree that they're one of the greatest live bands of all time. Here are a few great songs, but the rest is ok. I really would recommend red hot chili peppers' live at slane castle dvd instead, if you want a great concert.

Summary: Every Who fan should see this film
Review: As other reviewers have said, there are some places where the video does not match up with the audio. Most of the time they do match up. The audio sounds great for 1970 (the tone and power of Pete's guitar are incredible). Keith Moon became my hero after watching this film. I have never seen so well how he plays with so much manic energy like no one ever has or will. He is hilarious and still the most powerful drummer of his time. Don't worry about the technicalities, just concentrate on the music and see how the Who was onstage during the peak of their careers like you never have before.

Summary: Dont waste your money!
Review: Big Bummer, quality was terrible, sound and dubbing was off worse than an old Bruce Lee movie. I would not recommend this DVD to anyone and I am one of the Who's most loyal and devoted fans.

Summary: Is new version coming out on Aug 10, 2004?
Review: Buy.com has "Who Live at Isle Wight" dvd with a scheduled release date of August 10, 2004 that is available for pre-order. Have they re-done this dvd, or have the Who played a festival there in recent years that is being released?

Summary: Raw WHO!!!
Review: Classic WHO---raw and rare---at their best during their prime back in 1970 featuring rock n roll's wildest drummer ever to live--Keith Moon!!!..WHO classics such as MAGIC BUS, YOUNG BOY BLUES & MY GENERATION are included and a collection of TOMMY tracks round out this firey concert...Next to KISS, the WHO really knew how to kick it on stage and be entertainng with Pete's arm swings and leaps, Roger's mic swinging and fringed outfit, Kieth's unbelievable drumming and John's crazy Skeleton outfit...I give it 4 stars only becuase there are no extras, the soundtack is in just 2 channel stereo and though the footage is awesome, would have perferred it to have been formatted to widescreen...but if your lookin' to fill your live concert collection with some classic rock n' roll, this dvd is definately worth purchasing!

Summary: Plenitud de forma
Review: Creo que este dvd,es de los mejores que he visto de los WHO,con una buena imagen y con un sonido aceptable.Recoge para mi la mejor epoca de este grupo con un Roger Daltrey en plena forma asi como Keith,John y Pete.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Down and Brilliantly Dirty
Review: Everything from glimpses of the jubilant audience to the guy sitting off to the side of the stage with a bottle of wine serves to make this document of a bygone era a little treasure. It is one of the two DVDs I own because in fact it is like owning an audio CD, and who the hell wants to watch some movie over and over again anyhow? This on the other hand provides something new each time, as does I suspect any documentary. Moon is the consummate showman. Daltrey is like a beautiful little girl, while the musicianship of the Ox and the shark are unsurpassed. It is a festival for the eyes and ears, even if you're not a fan.
