Review: I gotta admit, you gotta love Slipknot. What other band is as great as them? This DVD proves that there isn't. I love the songs and the part on the second disc where you can have multiple camera angles on certain songs. I would always watch Joey drum. Who wouldn't? You need to go and buy this DVD. It's just so great.

Summary: My favorite band finally releases my favorite DVD
Review: Slipknot have been my favorite band ever since I heard their demo of "Spit It Out" when they got signed back in '99. As soon as I heard that one, I was instantly hooked. So you can imagine how excited I was when I learned they were to release a live DVD. This was something I had been waiting for years for!!! A few days before X-Mas I saw it and bought it for myself haha since my family for some reason never know what to buy me (music-wise) and since I already knew I was getting either an XBox or a DVD player, I bought it and had to wait 2 DAYS FAR TOO F-CKING LONG to watch this, but let me tell you it was well worth it. Every song performed on this flawless concert is basically all their best. Not to mention all their music videos and the recently unavailabe and awesome track "Purity" on Disc 2. But they could have played more songs (esp. Diluted, Prosthetics, I Am Hated...), but it's Slipknot so it doesn't matter, for whatever they do is godlike to my eyes. Do yourself a favor, if you are a fan of the mighty Slipknot in ANY way, and you don't own this... I pity you. I feel like I'm babbling on like a moron because mere words simply cannot described the greatness on these two discs. Wether you are new to this band or are an old-school hardcore 'Knot fan, you definitely ought to check this out. Plus, it's a damn good price for a 2-disc DVD. Check it out and keep heavy music alive!

Summary: it's slipknot...need i say more?
Review: Oh my god...wait, considering the group, wrong deity huh? Regardless this is AWESOME. You know how some of these live performanc dvd's can be. usually the audio kinda bites or the picture quality isn't so hot. not this time, baby! The audio is brilliant and you get to see the band from multiple on and off stage angles. Some of the most notable pieces here are the solos by joey (you have to watch this thing. The man gets to a position where gravity is now working against him, if you catch my drift) and sid (who is just plain awesome on those turntables, you also see him moon the crowd of maggots, it's hilarious). Corey has an amazing stage presence and leaves th crowd in absolute awe the entire show. Mick is also amazing to watch as he bangs out riffs doing full body head banging with his hair flying everywhere. looks pretty d*mn cool. I unfortunately have not had the privelidge of witnessing a slipknot concert, but this will tide me over till they come my way again. The special features have an audio version of purity (the song cut from their first album) wait and bleed and left behind videos, and features that let you control the cameras during certain songs. The greatest band in the world, thousands of screaming fans, and pyrotechnics...who could ask for anything more?

Summary: If You're 555...then don't buy this DVD!
Review: Slipknot's first DVD release was well-anticipated by the web-watchers of roadrunnerrecords.com, as it was by many hardcore nu-metal heads around the world. As the morose, suicidal and angst-ridden teens waited with bated breath, Corey and the 'Knot crew took a sigh of relief and took time to reflect upon their latest monstrosity, 'Disasterpieces'- The 'Knot live in London. While most of us have never had the pleasure of seeing the band up close and personal, the 'maggots' in this audience are lucky enough to be belittled by Taylor, beaten to pulps by Sid and given an all-round good dose of pure and unadulterated SLIPKNOT. Luckily, the DVD enables you to view the concert from various positions on the stage - each of Slipknot's nine members were assigned a camera, which was taped to the sides of their heads, all-in-all, giving you different angles to observe this brutality in. Bonus features include a mindblowing solo-performance by Joey Jordison (check this out, it is INSANE for lack of any other distinctive word); A formerly-rare animated version of the 'Wait & Bleed' video; an audio clip of 'Purity (cut from their self-titled album)' and various other videos (including 'My Plague').
The most impressive of all in the Slipknot camp are Corey, who maintains some strains of melodical verse through the concert torrent of screaming, cursing and roaring; Jordison, who's stamina is amazing and dumbfounding, but most heart-warming is when the crowd joins Taylor to belt out 'Wait & Bleed'.
Featuring songs from boths Slipknots' 2nd and 3rd albums, 'Disasterpieces' is the ultimate viewing for those who have never seen their own 9-piece pound-of-flesh.
Highly Commendable.

Summary: Disasterpeices=amazing
Review: If you have never been to a slipknot concert and dont really wanna get killed in a mosh get disasterpeices it gives you all the in face, rage, moshing, ... amazing fun of a knot concert plus behind the scenes of the band before the show, and all the videos including the song purity off the original album but taken off for legal reasons. If you are a slipknot fan this is a must. I have it and watch it all the time. Its a true maggot staple to your collection. Plus the truly amazing drum solo by drummer 1 Joey Jordison. It is shocking the solo alone is worth getting it. Not to mention the 0 Sid Wilson DJ solo, any maggot will absolutly fall in LOVE with this dvd. I know I did, along with a 30 camera angle, and songs that you can pick with member you want to staple to and watch from a dj to three drummers, two guitar players, and a crazy ... singer this is for you!
