Summary: Nice but not worth buying
Review: Don't get me wrong, Sade has a beautiful voice and it shows on this dvd but I am very big with sound and video quality to which this dvd lacks. With such a fantastic voice it's a shame the concert was not cleaned up with proper editing. Sound is over drowning in mono type quality, with her voice recorded more distant or faint then the music. The video has a over used vhs tape quality. Sade is the queen of sensuality and class, it hurts me to give such a bad review to such a talented singer.

Summary: It is great but......
Review: I just bought this the other day.It is very good.I have never seen Sade live so this is a good substitute. There were some disappointments though.I thought the song Paradise was pretty bad.And I didn't care for her dancing with the back up singers.A little too Las Vegasish for me,and corny. And how could she not mention 9/11?????It hurt me that she didn't refer to it.Unbelievable really. But I love Sade and every one of her cd's.I hope I get a chance to see her someday.

Summary: One Of The Very Best
Review: I am so glad I bought this DVD. Of my DVD collection, I place Sade right up there with Patti Labelle's "One Night Only" DVD (in which I also highly recommend). Sade's performance is simply outstanding, perhaps the best I've ever seen. She never misses a beat. And her band is equally as great.

So if you love R&B and jazz, then this DVD is a must for your collection. And if you like Sade, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Summary: SENSUAL - A TURN ON FOR ALL THE SENSES
Review: If you are a Sade Fan, good for you, if you are not, shame on you! Get this video, you will not regret it, trust me. If you appreciate good soothing music that appeals to all your senses, relax and take you to a place of beauty and love, then this is the Artist for you. Sade is very unique. Her style is a combination of jazz, r&b, maybe even latin and raggae. It is so sweet and is mixed together so deliciously.

Summary: Felt like I was there....
Review: Sade is as enchanting as ever in this excellent follow-up to the first concert DVD ("Sade Live"). This performance, which was filmed in September of 2001 at two SoCal venues, proves that after eight years, the attraction of Sade herself is just as strong as her music.

At just under two hours, you get a comprehensive show: 22 songs, with ten from the latest "Lovers Rock" CD. The remaining twelve are all favorite hits from Sade's previous four albums. Sound-wise, everything sounds great, and you can select from either stereo or 5.1 Surround Sound to suit your tastes. The band plays really tight, and there are some nice surprises, such as a cool intro to "Sweetest Taboo" and a funky/rock version of "Paradise" (check out the choreography).

Visually, you see lots of Sade (a good thing), yet the camera time spent on her and the rest of the band is fairly balanced. I loved the editing since I was watching what I wanted to see pretty much most of the time. The lighting for this tour is somewhat more interesting than the last, and the use of the video screen in back of the stage adds some pizzazz, especially the film of water dropping in synch with key accented beats in "Somebody Already Broke My Heart." The camera work and editing are superb. Even the credit track is awesome, with some really touching footage of the audience.

DVD Extras: 1) behind-the-scenes video (pretty funny) of the band members dancing and mugging for the camera; 2) Sade, behind-the-scenes; 3) concertgoers' "messages to Sade"; and 4) excellent "King of Sorrow" video, directed by Sophie Muller and filmed in Puerto Rico.

Summary: Worth getting, Sade's still stylish, classy and fun
Review: Although I like her other 1994 DVD better, this one is also a must-get for Sade fans ... (hey she's older now, so that's why no bare midriff anymore I guess).. her voice, poise, charm, grace and singing voice are terrific as always, and the "Paradise" mix is one I watch over and again...

Hearing the crowd chant "go Sade, go Sade" and her reaction is nice to watch ... it's definitely worth getting ... 8+/10 rating.
