Summary: If you love Queen live, then get this DVD!
Review: I was never able to attend a Queen concert but this DVD is the next best thing. With 21 songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, One Vision, Seven Seas of Rhye, and the crowd singing I Want to Break Free, it's a real thrill. The camera work is pretty good, Sound is great and the croud shots of a FULL Rockin' Wembley Stadium is Awesome!
O.K. here's for the drawback. The DVD is from Brazil so the back of the case and all albumography and accompanying words are in Spanish but other than that it's a must for the true Queen fan. I just wish that there were more live videos to buy.
Trust me, you'll love this one. Long live the QUEEN!

Summary: Great video
Review: I like this video better than the LIVE AT WEMBLEY one because this one doesn't cut off the end of the medley towards the beginning (though the LIVE AT WEMBLEY video is good too).

This one seems to have a little more energy too. I love the shot of Brian when he jumps down to the little platform to play the intro of "Tie Your Mother Down", then a shot of John hitting a note on his bass while the stage lights up, then a shot of Freddie a zillion feet away swinging around in the rafters. You get a sense of how much energy Freddie had to have to travel back and forth on such a huge stage, how big and professional the band was, and also how exciting it was to see them (as I did). The opera section of "Bohemian Rhapsody" is also done creatively with the sparklers.

Though I give it a 5, it is still not Queen's best. They need to release a good concert from the '70s since I never got used to Freddie's ugly '80s moustache. Also I wish it was easier to see how the giant lighting rigs moved about on the stage, but I realize this would be hard to film. But for some reason this concert video just flows well (slightly better than LIVE AT WEMBLEY) and I like to listen to the whole thing even if I'm not watching.

Summary: It really was live!
Review: As the close-up cameraman on Brian May I can assure all readers that this video was recorded "as-live". Yes the director, Gavin Taylor did fast cut it but it was one of the best concerts I have worked on. The atmosphere was out of this world.

Summary: Quite annoyed by this product....
Review: Despite the fact that this is a great video, it's nothing compared to LIVE AT WEMBLEY '86. There are several tracks left out, some of them are the greatest in the Queen catalogue. And if there's one thing I can't stand, it's concert videos with tracks left out. What's the point? It's the same with THE FREDDIE MERCURY TRIBUTE CONCERT. Now I know that this is edited because I read somewhere that Def Leppard, one of the bands performing that night, played two of their own songs, Animal and Let's Get Rocked, as well as Now I'm Here. So it is something that I find really annoying.

Summary: Taken from Queen's final tour
Review: Filmed at Wembley Stadium in London, England over 2 nights and then edited into one concert. At the time, Queen thought this was to be their last show of "The Magic Tour" and pulled out all the stops. In the opening credits, we see the huge stage being constructed (shown at a faster pace of course) so we can see all of the work put into this show. From the opening chords of "One Vision" to the updated "stadium funk" of "Another One Bites the Dust", we're handed all sorts of treats.Freddie seems to take every opportunity to interact with the audience and they respond with glee. He truly knew how to work the crowd. (Note to the frontmen of current rock bands, it takes a little more effort than standing in one spot and singing to get the audience into you.)Freddie went into quote over-drive at this show with many memorable lines. Before starting "Crazy Little Thing..." Freddie is trying to tune his guitar but it seems to be giving him problems......"This (...) guitar never plays the chords I want it to play!" and in a sadly prophetic line before "Who Wants to Live Forever", he addressed rumors of Queen splitting up by saying "We're gonna stay together until we (...) well die I'm sure!"Why the band decided to break up the "Rock You" and "Champions" pairing with "Friends Will Be Friends" remains a mystery..and a mistake on their part. This was a great show filled with an awful lot of energy..and of course, Freddie at his most playful. He had a lot of fun and it showed, even when things didn't go as planned. Roger starting into "Another One Bites the Dust" well before Freddie was expecting it, the surprised look on his face was priceless but ever the showman, he went with the flow. When it was all said and done, Freddie returned to the stage in (fittingly) a royal crown, robe and scepter. The quote in the following day's newspaper said "..only Freddie could have gotten away with that." Very true.

Summary: the best ever in concert
Review: To bad this is not the whole show, but in this, Freddie,Brian,Roger and John show the world that at that time they were really the best in concert, the way Freddie has the whole audiance at his finger tips, the way he sang his heart out, the way brian attacked his red special, the whole stage and the lighting affect.....Basically I would give a year's pay to be able to go back in time and see this concert live

Summary: Fantastic - Queen At Their Best!
Review: This video is a must for every Queen fan! Truly Awesome!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best of Queen. Quite likely the best of rock live.
Review: Live at Wembly is Queen's best video performance. It is that simple. Freddie Mercury wows the crowd with his overwhelming stage presence once more, but this time he gives it everything, it would seem.

Filmed shortly before Queen stopped touring, this video is proof that they went out with a bang. Their greatest hits, such as "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Seven Seas of Rhye," Sombined with more recent songs such as "Who Wants to Live Forever," "A Kind of Magic," and "One Vision" make this memorable to both the casual fan and the Queen veteran.

Quite simply, everything about this video is great. Were I to have any complaints, it would be that there wasn't ernough footage. However, as with any live tape, that is more or less to be expected.

Summary: All time great!
Review: Perhaps this is the number one best live rock video you can buy. It's queen in their last live tour at a place that loves and appreciates them the most.

Some of the reviews are just too picky. One person even suggested this isn't an actual live video. Huh? What else is it? Sure not all of queen's 2 1/2 hour concert is here, the video is about 75 minutes but all 75 minutes is live footage from that concert. One can argue some with the song selection, something else instead of tutti frutti for example but most of the show is fantastic and contains stuff from most of their albums over the previous 15 years. The band hits the stage running just before sundown with "one vision" and "tie your mother down". Then comes an onslaught of hits and favorites and freddie has total control of the crowd. Rarely can you see a concert where the audience of that size is so close and intimate with a band. The band itself plays a tight, inspired self assured concert. Seasoned pros at their best playing before long time friends. Definitely a special moment and who would have guessed that just 5 years later freddie would be gone and queen would be no more.

Everyone should own this video!

Summary: Great!
Review: The concert Queen did at Wembley in 1986 during the "Magic Tour", just after the release of the album "A Kind Of Magic" in the same years, marks one of their greatest moments ever. (Nothing would top them at the "Live Aid" in 1985 though)

It's too bad that so many great songs like "Tear It Up", " Brighton Rock", "Now I'm Here" and "Love Of My Life" were cut out from the video. It's really worth buying the double album "Live At Wembley '86" too. All songs featured in the concert are on the album. Frieddie talks much more about the so-called "Break-Up roomers about the certain band called Queen" on the album than on the video.

It's a great video too. Brian puts much more beat into his guitar and it's play faster on "One Vision" than the studio cut. "A Kind Of Magic" and "I Want To Break Free" also has much guitar on it, than only the bass, also like the studio cuts.

If you're a big fan of Queen, get this video NOW! It's really a kind of magic!
