Summary: What Every True Maiden Fan Must Have!!!
Review: This 2 disc set is the definitive Maiden Video collection. If you just got into Iron Maiden, this is an excellant introduction to the band's body of work. Although it's not a history lesson, new fans will get a good idea what Maiden was like back in the day as well as get aquainted with thier newer material. Videos included in this set is everything from thier 1st album, "Iron Maiden", up to "Brave New World". I highly recommend this dvd. MAIDEN RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: ...This DVD is the pinnacle of the amazing career of an amazing band, who made amazing music. This is a video recording of the greatest sounds made in the history of the universe. H-i-s-t-o-r-y o-f t-h-e- u-n-i-v-e-r-s-e.-.-. That's all there is to it. I don't know what mr. no face was thinking, but these guys are amazing. Seriously. When I hear their music it just fills me with American Pride, and I want to go over to Iran or wherever and fight for this fine country I am proud to be a part of. These guys are amazing. That's all I have to say. Thank you. And thank America!

Summary: A trip down lunacy lane with Emperor Harris
Review: 1983, Piece of Mind liner notes: "No synthesizers or ulterior motives." 1985, Iron Maiden Behind the Iron Curtain video: "You can't play heavy metal with synthesizers."--Bruce Dickinson to bewildered Polish guy.
1986, Somewhere in Time: guitar synthesizers. 1988, 7th Son--keyboard synthesizers. Need I go on?

Why place any trust in people who can't adhere to their own code? Although, as mentioned, this video is great as a timeline to watch the decline of the band's status, it also provides all the proof you need to see the absence of any sort of integrity. Tempus Omni Revelat.
Eddie was used as a distraction, while the band drifted into unwelcome realms of soft rock that had its beginnings--albeit ever so subtle--on Somewhere in Time. 7th Son as a whole was considerably less heavy and overtly poppy, with the synths washing out most of the already meager guitar sound, as evidenced by "The Evil that men do" and "Can I play with madness?"
Janick Gers came in afterward and further edged the band toward the boundaries of pop rock, with his glam-rock inspired guitar twirling (a la Cinderella), and led people to believe, through his stage act, that you could dance to Iron Maiden.
"Visions of the Beast" contains the absolute proof of these statements. You can watch it unfold before your very eyes. Steve Harris' growing insanity unveils as well: using balloons as stage props, then the hiring of Janick being nearly his most mentally-unbalanced decision, topped only by the later hiring of Blaze Bayley. His delusions of grandeur led him to make videos and, unfortunately, produce his albums. Then Steve had a divorce and found religion, and used the X Factor to turn Maiden into a Christian band. Suddenly, seeing his pockets not lined with cash anymore, he FINALLY listened to the fans and hired back the two members that made him all of his money in the first place...but he didn't entirely listen to the fans because he kept one of the guys that made half of the fans run off to begin with. Then they recorded a big show in Rio, simply because that's the only place bands can go anymore and draw huge crowds. That's the latest craze in the metallic old guard: go to Rio to make it look like you're still a valid act (i.e."Rush in Rio"). Thing is, Rio would sell out if Triumph the Insult Comic Dog puppet-thing went there, so it's not saying much.
Visions of the Beast is basically a trip down lunacy lane with Steve Harris, and we get to watch his insanity unfold thanks to this compilation. It contains 31 excellent reasons why they should have packed it in 13 years ago. It's safe to assume that Master Harris had to approve this dvd, which means he approved the ridiculous silver-skinned Eddie in the navigation, and that green blotch that flies around uselessly, serving no purpose. Kind of like Maiden nowadays.

Summary: Buena compilación de Iron Maiden

Summary: I'm a Big Janick Gers Fan!
Review: First i'd just like to say that this isn't a forum it's a place to give intelligent reviews so please, keep your comments to yourselves.Sure you can say you don't like something but don't go on a big tyrade about it.

Ok, when i bought this 2 dvd set i was excited and couldn't wait to watch it.After watching a few video's i had a bit of a headache because i found some video's didn't stay on one particular thing for very long.It was like one snapshot to the next. But that faded a bit and i found it quite enjoyable. Now i wish that I would've been able to get the 2nd dvd only.Because i found the 90's and on videos to be more enjoyable. And also i'm a big Janick Gers fan but i still need the 1st dvd because there are 2 Janick era video's on there so if your like me i think you would enjoy the whole package.I did give the Adrian Smith era video's a chance and they weren't too bad.So if your a real Maiden fan and not like some of these other supposed fans that say "i hate Janick Gers" or "i didn't like the band around the 90's" you'll love all the different era's of the band.

This is a great dvd to add to your Maiden collection.Buy it today!

Review: Fool. Your sentence about football (or soccer, as you so rightly term it for all those living within the hallowed lands) makes absolutely no sense. How can there be a world's favourite sport OUTSIDE of the USA, when the USA is surely INSIDE the world?? Please explain. The world's favourite sport is football. The world's least favourite country is USA.

Please remember this when you next feel like commenting from within your dull and hermetic nation.

Haven't seen the DVD.
