Summary: Shania Twain's Concert
Review: I attended this concert on July 27th 2003. It was the best concert ever. I have not yet bought the DVD but I am sure it is great, since it will be showing all of her songs from the concert. I am not sure it if they aregoing to show the crowd, but if so, I was holding up a sign that read "Shania, I rode your horse Dancer" and the other side said "Shania, welcome to Chicago!" I really hope that is shown in the DVD to prove to my friends that I was only 5 rows from the stage. If you haven't seen a concert of her's I believe you should. This was the best concert ever! I will never forget this experience as long as I live. Thank you Shania for all that you have given to your fans!Love,

Summary: Excellent concert!
Review: What can I say that hasn't been said about Shania (as long as it's not negative because this woman knows how to perform!) I saw the unfortunately butchered and shortened version of this concert on NBC. I myself had never seen her live before and have only recently started listening to her music. But, from what I've heard (I own her three most recent CDs), I love her music. I've never been a country music fan until recently when I got SO fed up with other performers that were so anti-US. To me, country-western singers still feel rooted in the good 'ol USA and so does Shania, even though she's from Canada and lives overseas. But, her music is still rooted in some very traditional country music styles while mixing in some pop and rock and roll as well. Her music hits home in many areas and her voice is hauntingly beautiful when she sings. For those that have to pan her because she's not pure country, so what? This lady knows how to sing across many genres in the music industry which I believe is one of the main reasons Shania has been able to have such a huge following across the world! This concert is excellent. A wonderful mix of old and new songs, hitting country, pop rock, and rock and roll genres in one concert makes this an wonderfully entertaining show to watch for the whole family! Heck, I could even turn the TV off and just listen to it pump through my stereo. I was hoping this would come out on DVD after watching the concert on TV, and I was so happy to see it on Amazon a month back. Now that I have the package in my hands, I can only say I have no bad feelings about it except that the packaging is pretty plain. No booklet or anything inside the case except the DVD. But hey, I purchased this DVD to watch and listen to her in concert, not read about it. What I'm also glad is that they did NOT interrupt the concert with back-stage material as they did on TV. THe concert is shown without interruption and the sound is awesome in both 5.1 and 2.0 surround sound. I know that my two younger daughters are going to love having this DVD in our collection as they absolutely love her music. My youngest daughter loves Honey I'm Home and she was so disappointed when it wasn't played on TV. Now, she can dance all she wants as she loves to gallop around the room to it. This just shows the effect that Shania's music can have on even the youngest of listeners, and I do not have any qualms letting my daughters listen to Shania as I would with Brittany Spears. Get this DVD and she why Shania is as popular as she is, regardless of what the critics in Nashville and abroad have to say. I say they're just jealous that she has such a huge and loyal following from different regions of the world. Shania and this concert can go nowhere but Up!

Summary: Shania - A Real Talent
Review: I am so glad they released this DVD uncut! I was not able to attend this particular show, and I am such a huge Shania fan, I don't like to miss a thing. I was priveledged enough to get to see her perform three times this year, and she is the most gorgeous, talented woman in music! You can tell her music is all written straight from her heart. Her show is full of energy and enthusiasm, and her band is spectacular!! This was a GREAT dvd, and I enjoyed every little minute of it! Her new cd, UP, is her best one yet! If you don't have it yet, I suggest you give it a try. You won't be disappointed!!

Review: I also was in attendance for this spectacular performance. This was my first live Shania experience and will NOT be my last. Review: I just started listening to Shaina Twain's CD and I thought she was fantastic. Her signing voice is just awesome. I missed her Chicago Concert on TV and I heard that was a good concert so I reserved one copy for my own viewing. Way to go Shaina. Your my favorite female country singer of all time.

Summary: She's not just a pretty face
Review: I was at this concert along with 52,000 screaming Shania fans!! It was really awesome to see Shania's first concert in the USA in over 3 years. I had seen Shania previously at two of her Come On Over Concerts, and she was awesome. This concert topped those two previous concerts experiences. Shania and her band put on an incredible show!!! It was a mixture of her old and new songs. It is great to see she has made the whole concert experience available on DVD. Shania shows what a versitile artist she is. During this concert, Shania goes from country, to rock, to pop, and back to country all in 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Review: Shania returns after a 3 year break form the stage. I was there in Chicago and this show ROCKED THIS COUNTRY!!! This is the best special yet from the queen of country. From old favorites like "Any Man of Mine" and "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" to signature songs like "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" to the new songs off of Up! "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!", "In My Car", and "Forever and For Always", Shania is covered on this DVD. Plus, the excitment of "I'm Outta Here!", "Nah!", and "Rock This Country" top off this party with Shania!!

Summary: THE best concert EVER!
Review: I have been to several Shania concerts and the Chicago concert was by far THE best concert I have ever been to in my life!! Shania was SO full of energy, constantly moving, interacting with the crowd...it was great! And the audience! Wow were we hyper or what?! Everyone was extremely excited to see Shania's first concert in the U.S. since 1999! The band was fabulous too! This concert just had so much energy and anyone that passes up this DVD doesn't know what they're missing!! And yes, there are extra songs that Shania performed at Chicago that were not shown on the TV special so you're in for a real treat! I'm telling you, anyone would love this for a present and if there's no one to buy it for, then buy it for yourself because this is one awesome energy filled concert! It will blow the roof off as Shania says back in her 1998 concert special. :) Shania definitely rocked this country the night of that concert!! WOOHOOO!!!

Summary: Based on the NBC Special
Review: All I can say is, I've never seen her perform live except during specials, such as the Super Bowl (which she unfortunately lip synched to), but after watching the Up! In Chicago special, all I can say is this lady knows how to perform. However, I had the distinct feeling that more songs were performed than shown on TV and I believe this DVD proves that true. All I can say, I can't wait to see the concert without commercial interuptions and hopefully, no backstage scenes except possibly as extra bonuses on the DVD AFTER the concert. My two daughters ...just LOVE Shania's music, as do I. All I can say is, all three of us are eagerly awaiting this DVD release.
