Rating: Summary: unless you want to have more DVDs in your collection... Review: I will write a long review, because I am really angry I bought this DVD. First of all, the image quality: all the disadvantages of a Hi-8/SVGA tape (glitches, white and black dots etc.), plus the disadvantages of MPEG compression. Then, the content: very few really nice shots, but even those become annoying, because they are used several times - what's the point of seeing exactly the same shot 5 or 6 times? unless you're so tired you cannot fall asleep and you need to count something. And then, the sound: nothing else but a mediocre piano score. Not to say that some tracks stop in the middle of a shot. Like they put the image and the film together only when they encoded the DVD. My advice: take you're camcorder and get some nice nature shots yourself, buy a cheap mixer and add some Vivaldi or Corelli, or Jim Brickman, if you prefer, the result cannot be worse than these "naturescrapes". Anyway, like all these were not enough, or to top them, the producers wrote on the cover: "In addition to playing on your DVD player, this DVD disc will also play on a PC with the following requirements: DVD-ROM drive, Windows 95 Only, 133MHz Pentium, 16 MB RAM, 5MB hard drive, SVGA graphics, enhanced IDE connector, PCI slot MPEG 2, Sound Blaster 16 or compatible, mouse." Do you get it? No other comments.
Rating: Summary: A must for nature lovers who enjoy nature cds. Review: Imagine, besides simply listening to your favorite nature sounds now you can watch beautiful clips of animals and lanscapes while you listen. I found the music to be very relaxing and the video quality was very good. I have viewed two in this series and eagerly seek a third.
