Review: Being a Christian Bale fan, I had to watch it and I was realy surprised. He was only 13 but he did an outstanding job. The story was action-packed enough to keep my attention, but it was long enough to have some calmness about it. Definitely one of my favorite movies. A must-see.

Review: I like this film so much!!! It's like I never get tired of it. It's absolutely my favorite film, and I'm 14. This film and "the Name of the Rose" is the best films ever made!! I love it so much. And all the acters-they're just Great!

Summary: An excellent war movie
Review: Empire of the Sun is an underrated Steven Spielberg movie. The kid in the movie thinks it's a big adventure while WWII is going on around him. The movie shows the brutality of the prison camps and the hardships Jim had to endure. I loved the scene where Jim see's the B52's and calls them the ,"Cadallac of the sky".

Review: WOW! Talk about a favorite video, this is the one. This is a movie that you can take out over the years and never get tired of it. It's always been a favorite to me. It is not just for the adults and habile people of this world, after all I'm only 18.

Review: EMPIRE OF THE SUN was an excellent movie. In the beginning of the film I disliked the main character, Jamie. He was a pompous, self-righteous little bugger. But as the film progressed, he adapted and learned that his life was never going to be as it was before the war. It was a wonderful movie and I recommend everyone watch this movie.

Review: When I first started watching this movie, I thought it was going to put me to sleep. It actually turned out okay once I got into it. It protrays the life and times of a young kid separated from his parents during WWII. He is sent to live at a prison camp in China. This movie very realistic and I enjoyed watching it. My favorite scene is when Jim thought it was woman's soul going to heaven. He actually witnessed the bombing of Nagasaki. He was mistaken by the bright light of the bomb.

Summary: One of the most thought provoking flicks ever seen.
Review: This motion picture combines history with emotion in a depth that I haven't seen before. I tend to watch motion pictures over again and again much the same that another would sit and study a famous painting such as the Mona Lisa. The many attributes of this work make me enjoy it more and more as I see it again and again.
