Summary: Great Movie
Review: ...This movie was really good. I normally don't like war movies, but I made an exception for this one. Then again, there isn't a whole lot fighting in this movie, either. The Pearl Harbor attack is shown for like only 10 minutes, but the graphics were really realistic...

Summary: boring!
Review: This movie was so lacking in any heartfelt emotion. It had many inconsistencies throughout the movie. It was way too long and just not believable. Where were the local people? Why wasn't it about sailors? They did a horrible injustice to the tradedy that occurred to the sailors who died and their families.

Summary: Fantastic! [URL]
Review: Hey, this movie just totally rocks! A combination of great music, special effects, loyal friendship, everlasting love and sad tragedy, Pearl Harbor is the best movie in 2001!

When I first saw the movie, I immediately loved it! I saw it four times in the cinema and dreamed of owning it on a video - that dream became a reality. :o)

That's all I have to say - this movie really is nice, do not listen to critics' reviews - they always find a nice movie to pick on! Go see it - even though I know 90 percent of you have seen it! I dont know what you think, but I think this movie is so beautiful yet so tragic! Buy it - period.

Summary: a truly inspired, amazing story of love and war
Review: Yesterday, December 7th, 1941, a date which will live in infamy, the United Stateds of America was suddemnly and deliberatly attacked by the empire of Japan...FDR. After watching this movie i feel so patriotic and rejuvennated with american pride. The spectacular screenplay based on the novel by the astouding author Randall Wallace was a wonderfully written epic tale of love, war, and betrayel. The special effects are precise and the realizism is extremely accurate. The costumes were a fabulous replication of the 1940s clothing. The movie was filled memorable characters. Every single line in the movie is perfectly placed. "That's no navy issued uniform" -Gooze. "Every night as I look into the sunset, I draw the last ounce of heat from its long day, and send it from my heart to yours"-Evelyne.
But the best part of all: there are two incredibly gorgeous tall dark handsome guys! Josh Hartnett and Ben Affleck are hott!!

Summary: good movie
Review: half of a century after From here to eternity, we see a new movie (i think longer) about peral harbor. I think its title confuses people because it really isn't about peral harbor, and like FHTE, it's about a love story. Most people look at it's "over the top" praises rather than appreciateee some of the art (scenary, story, war/romance) that were actually IN the movie. Many simply dismissed this as a 3 star hollywood clip, long clip. This is perfect for anyone believes in love stories. Disregard the reviews and treat this unbiased as an independent film (although it cost a LOT).

YOu will get more out of it. DOn't wait to be impressed, you have to go and appreciat it

Summary: I love this movie but I also love to rub poop all over myslf
Review: I was highly anticipating the arrival of Pearl Harbor. Being a huge WWII fanatic and having grandfathers and great uncles who actually fought in the war, I couldn't wait for its release. I have a great uncle who was actually aboard the dry-docked battleship Pennsylvania during the attack on Pearl. I wanted to take him to see it, but I figued I would go screen it first, because since it was a Bruckheimer movie, I was afraid there might be a ridiculous love story for three hours and only fifteen minutes of good movie. Well, I was wrong. There's only about ten minutes of good movie, and that ten minutes is when they are actually in Pearl Harbor.
I don't know if this was supposed to be some identical idea to Titanic (and I didn't care for that love story either), but at least in that movie they were on the ship the whole time.
The movie drug on and on and I told my wife to wake me up when anything good happened. Two hours later she did, and the battle scene took place. I will give credit to whomever did the special effects for that few minutes of battle--that was impressive.
Needless to say I didn't take my great uncle to see the movie, because I thought I would spare him the silliness.
Just a word to the wise--if you want to see a good war movie, avoid this one at all costs. If you want to see a movie... ridiculous plotlines and very little historical value, by all means, this is a must see.
