Summary: The Best There Is!
Review: Words cannot describe my sense of anticipation after gotten words of this series coming to TV by Speilberg and Hanks. And it definitely did not disappoint!. Even though I have not experienced any real combat or war, I feel it I am through WWII as one the 101st.

Brilliant. HBO, pls produce the series on DVD!

Summary: Outstanding!
Review: This video was with out a doubt the best I have ever seen. The interviews with the actual veterans made this even more enticing to watch. The characters that portrayed these men were wonderful and the areas of filming could not have been better. This was a true learning experience for me. I would watch it over again and again.

Summary: Been There!
Review: My Father was involved with operation "Market Garden". After walking the land, touching parachute silk my Mother still treasures, and watching this HBO special, my life seems mundane. This series is a must own!

Summary: A+ Performances - A+ Series
Review: My husband and I have never watched a complete miniseries until now -- we never missed an episode of Band of Brothers. In the light of September 11, it was a timely history lesson. It was one of the best WWII films we have ever seen. The fact that it is based on real men and their memories of war made it indeed more real to us. We are anxious to see it on DVD to watch it over again.

Summary: Best WW2 film/show i have seen!!
Review: Band of Brothers was by far my favorite show/film of all time! It shows us younger viewers how much our brave ancestors really did sacrifice for our freedom. I hope that they release the show on DVD or VHS.

Summary: Brilliant
Review: I've seen the whole series, and they have blown me away. They are probably the best series i've ever seen, and by far the best. And this is probably the only series i've watched from beginning to end. And the acting was incredibly good. Bull, Perconte, Luz, Speir, Guarnere... the whole lot of 'em... Great acting!
And it is also emotional, When Muck and Penkala went to a sad demise I nearly (I swear) cried. It was just sudden. It's a very very good series and I really hope they make a DVD

Summary: The greatest story of friendship I have seen.
Review: At first, I really didn't see the point of watching this mini-series because I had already seen Saving Private Ryan. I just figured what else could this mini-series say about World War II that I didn't catch when watching Private Ryan?

Well, I am happy to say that I was way off base. This mini-series is the most interesting, action packed, and informative story of World War II I have ever seen. I found myself totally engrossed in each and every episode and looking forward to the next. By the 6th or 7th episode you get so familiar with the story and characters that I found myself feeling like I knew these men. The story is told in such a way that you start to feel as though you are apart of Easy company or at least you want to be.

The greatest one point about this series is not the struggle we went through as Americans in World War II against Hitler and the Nazis, it is about one single company in the war. It's about a group of men, who trained to be the best, and where the best at what they did. It's about friendship, its about togetherness in the sense that these men worked so closely together that they all became brothers. What these men went through created a bond so tight that 55 years later it is still there. Although we can never understand what it was like for them during World War II, this series, as least for a little while, makes you feel like you're apart of it. A must see for everyone!
