Summary: The Greatest Movie of All Time!!!
Review: Glory has to be the greatest movie of all time. I was first able to watch this film last year in my history class. Even with terrible picture and sound, I still thought that the movie was awesome. Combine the actual movie with the quality of DVD and you have the greatest movie of all time. All of the elements from the actors, to the director and producer, to the music all came together to make an unforgettable movie!

Review: I can't believe I waited so long to see this movie, but I am glad that my first viewing was on DVD. The cinematography and sound was among the best of all of the DVD films I have seen.

Summary: A mixture of emotions wrapped up to make an excellent film!
Review: Glory is a brilliant film telling the story of the 54th regiment of Massachusetts marching bravely to their death, undawnted by the fact that they will probably never return home again. This is one of the few films where we really expressed our emotions, you just can't help yourself from crying. This is because you know it isn't just a fairytale. It's upsetting how humans can be so prejudice from one another, and how these African-Americans have to fight for equality.

Review: the begining was really attention grabbing and it captured the audience attention it was hearty warm and it was sad to see the racism that the black people had to go though and the lenghts they were going to get freedom the freedom that they deserved many people died at this time most of them black

Summary: A brilliant and emotional film.
Review: I thought that this film was excellent.It was the best war film I have ever seen.The acting was brilliant.The film really portrayed the courage these soldiers had.The one scene of the ex slave being wipped was so moving, the way he tried to not show the pain must of took guts.

Summary: 'A FILM TO MAKE YOU CRY'
Review: I THOUGHT THAT THIS FILM WAS VERY DRAMATIC AND GRIPPING. I FOUND IT WAS VERY UPSETTING THOUGH, AS IT WAS SHOWN IN GRAPHIC DETAIL AND IT HAD ACTUALLY HAPPENED AND IT WASN'T FICTION. THE STORY LINE WAS QUITE HARD TO FOLLOW AND I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND SOME PARTS OF IT. I THINK THAT BEFORE YOU WATCH THIS FILM YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME IDEA OF WHAT HAPPENED IN THE CIVIL WAR AND THE MAIN CHARACTERS INVOLVED. I WOULDN'T RECOMMENED THIS FILM TO ANYONE WHO IS UNDER THE AGE OF 12, AS IT WOULD BE TOO COMPLICATED, HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND UPSETTING.

Summary: A gripping drama and extremely touching.
Review: This is by far one of the best films I've ever seen. It is extremely touching incuding the fact it is a true tale. This film has used history to set the scenes when the first black troops comenced. This film allows you to see exactly what happened and what black people had to go through just to fight for their country. I felt throughout the film that I could understand how these men would be feeling and hown hard it must of been for them. I think that Colonel Shaw showed great courage towards these men especially when he led them into battle. It was a very sad ending and the music fitted this dramatic scene perfectly. Glory was the saddest film I have ever seen and it will have touched many people all over the UK. The main characters have acted this very well as by the acting I thought that they had related extremely well to the circumstances. This is a film which I would persuede people to watch, as you can learn about the American Civil war and be interested as well. A film that brings tears to my eyes.

Summary: it was a good film but it was a bit boring in some parts
Review: this film had only one good part which was when the mans head was blown off it is such a very large shame that this man was not sean. this upset me because i dont like him and he always farts.

Summary: A dramatic but extreamely sad film.
Review: I thought that this film was really good. It was dramatic , informative and sad.I gave a realistic look at what life was like for all those involved being that it was a true story not fiction.I would certainly reccomend it to anyone even people who don't find things like this intresting.

Summary: it was the best film i've every seen
Review: the acting was fantastic and the directing was marvelouse the effects were surpriseingly good for a old film. We saw the cut version in school but i would really like to see the 18 version
