Summary: "We scare because we care"
Review: Another winner from Pixar. The movie is about a group of monsters who scare small children by emerging from their closet. Their screams are used to power their city. The problem is that the monsters are more afraid of the children. They believe that contact with a child is fatal. Well an extemely adorable two year old girl accidently enters their world and causes a panic. She befriends the top scarer John Sullivan who bonds with the child. Sullivan and his friend Mike desperately ties to get the child back home. THe movie is funny as well as very sweet escpecially the relationship between SUllivan and the child. The animation is quite good and very detailed. Every stand of fur on sullivans body moves independantly giving the look of real fur. I saw specials on how they made this possible. It seams every new animation feature furthwer sets the mark for computer animation.

Summary: We love this movie!
Review: I bought this for my son shortly after he turned 2. My husband and I saw Monsters Inc in the theatre, so we knew what to expect. We eased our son into it by watching all the bonus footage and outtakes. By the time the movie started, my son was hooked! He watches this movie at least once a week. His favorite bonus footage is "The Birds." This is another great movie from Pixar -- can't wait for the next one! I just wish I could find Monsters Inc toys. After they recalled Sulley with Boo, they never came out with any new ones. Oh well.... we love this movie!

Summary: So tired...
Review: Am I the only one that's sick of the same damn characters in every Pixar film? How many times do we have to be subjected to the Mike Wazowski character? Come on! Plucky, wise-cracking, comedy-relief of a side-kick. As for the rest? Be sure to expect a round of cliches bottled off with some contrived "twists", and a really moronic plot (Kid's screams? How long did it take to think THAT wild idea up? Morons). There's no wit, little is funny, characters are not even close to being engaging or interesting... Pixar used up all their steam with their other 3 classics (Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and A Bug's Life)... it's no wonder this mess is void of any intelligence. Finding Nemo looks equally bad.

Review: Honestly, I didn't enjoy monster inc as toy story2.
but this dvd is awesome! It's fully loaded with bonus, games, short movies etc. the best part is the academy award winner short animation: for the bird. it's sooo funny!!! and don't forget to watch 'the charade' trailler. I still laugh after watching it over and over again...

Review: My son wants to watch this movie everyday! We're not quite sure what he loves so much, but it is an enjoyable movie. Some of the plot is confusing, which is odd for Disney, but it is excusable. Recommended!

Summary: Creative story and great animation
Review: A little green ball with one eye, and a large purple spotted furball--with the voices of Billy Crystal and John Goodman--already a great premise to the movie! The storyline was so creative, a whole city "Monstropolis" powered by the screams of frightened children, yet it was the monsters who were deathly afraid of the little ones... "one touch will kill you!" is the mantra of the monsters-in-training. Obviously the animation will attract the children, but do not ignore this one adults! There are some great laughs for you that none of the children will understand... too many instances to recount here. A very fun movie to watch--Pixar and Disney team-ups have added another great one to the list!

Review: Pixar is deffinatly the best movie animation company out there. This movie proves it. For those of you who don't know, pixar also created Ice Age and finding nimo, otehr great movies. The movie takes place inside a world in which monsters live. To power their city, they send monsters through "transport doors" that put them in the closets of children. They then scare the kids and capure their screams to be converted into power. Chaos occurs when a child accident escapes into the monster world, and two monsters have to try and sneak him back into the human world.
I dont want to give to much away, but this is a great movie. Another benefit to getting this dvd is teh hours of extras it contains. So many hidden suprises, you have to get this movie to see them.

Summary: Delightfully Delicious For Kids Of All Ages
Review: I intentionally waited for this to come out on dvd and have since recommended it to several of my friends who have all loved it!! This is a story that will completely entertain from start to finish. The extras are outstanding -- especially the extra outtakes!! Each time I see them, I still laugh hard!!! This is a story of two mis-matched characters who work for a scare factory only to discover one of the kids slipped into the factory. Follow the antics of how "Boo" gets returned.
