Summary: I don't care for Big Bird myself, but my 2 yr.old likes it.
Review: I personally find Big Bird to be an annoying character, but this show is pretty good for helping to teach the alphabet. I only rate it a 3 because it is not a show I enjoy watching with my daugher. I also don't notice her laughing and being engrossed with the story the way she does with Franklin videos, Bear in the Big Blue House videos, and even Elmo videos. I also don't particularly care for the Baby Bear character either, because he doesn't speak well (they have him speak in "baby" talk which means he mispronounces certain letters.) We've had this video for about 8 months and my daughter never requests it anymore. Maybe she's too old (28 months), but I doubt it. She still loves to watch Sesame St. on PBS.

Summary: Buy sunglasses before viewing!
Review: Be prepared! My daughter MUST have her sunglasses to watch this video! She wears them along with Baby Bear & Billy Joel and sings right along. She's even started playing her piano along with them. She's also picking up many new words in addition to just the letters.
This video has all the typical Sesame Street advantages. And I must admit I even recognize a few of the excerpts from my own Sesame Street days. The best part is the inclusion of children. As much as my daughter loves the puppets, when real kids start singing the alphabet she just has to participate!

Summary: The best ABC video around
Review: This video is the best! For my 2 year old son, this video surpasses Blues Clues, Bear in the Big Blue House, anything around. My son has a speech delay, but after watching this video every day for 3 days, he was soon saying his ABC's and requesting "Big Bird" every time I asked him what he wanted to watch. I would recommend this for every toddler. Stick with the classics - this one and 123 Count with me beat them all hands down for pure entertainment and educational value.

Summary: This is such a great DVD
Review: My daughter has watched this DVD EVERY DAY for the past 18 months. She just loves Baby Bear. I just wish he was in more of the Sesame Street Videos.

Summary: Excellent Educational Video! Couldn't be better!!!
Review: I have 18 months old boy, this DVD is one of his favorites. Best of all, he is learning to babble ABC at this age!!! I would recommend this DVD without any reservations.

Summary: A true Sesame Street fan
Review: I bought this video for my 17 month old son who loves Sesame Street. He found it to be Dee, Dee, Dee, Delightful (one of many great songs on it). It starts with Baby Bear looking for the great alphabet teacher...Big Bird. Baby Bear wants to say the alphabet, but when he has trouble Goldilocks rushes in a finishes before he has a chance. With songs and skits (old and new) Big Bird is able to help Baby Bear reach his goal. I was torn between this video and Sesame Street Learn With Letters. I am (and especially my son) happy with this purchase.

Summary: A Lot of Fun!
Review: This is a wonderful start to laying a foundation for your child to learn the ABC. My little girl is only 10 1/2 months old and just loves to watch it! I think it is a great beginner video and once they get older a more detailed video would be more appropriate. But all together a great beginner for kids!

Summary: My child is learning the alphabet
Review: Besides Baby Bears talk, I think my 15 month old enjoys the video very much. I don't really think that Baby Bear's speech would have any affect on another child's speech. I think its very educational and easy to learn from. My daughter seems to get upset when Baby Bear tries to remember the alphabet and forgets; it's like she is trying to help him out. Overall I think it's a great video.

Summary: Great Video!! You won't be disappointed!
Review: I'm here to buy my second "Do the Alphabet" video. I've had the first one for approximately 5 years and it went through my first three children watching it over and over and over again! I had my fourth child in June and started playing it for her around 2 or 3 months... to my surprise she actually watched the entire movie! I play it for her so much that it is starting to drag and wear out... so I'm buying her a brand new one! She's 5.5 months now and rocks back and forth and tries to sing along with it!

Summary: Sing along
Review: Be prepared to know the songs by heart! The tunes are really catchy, and the kids want to hear it over and over. We bought this to help our Spanish-speaking adopted children learn English, and it helped a lot! Our favorite songs are the boogie-woogie alphabet, the "d" song, and the jungle song. A great buy.
