Summary: Disappointing Sound Quality
Review: Although the segments are good, the sound quality is not so hot. I was a bit disappointed with this aspect of the DVD. I guess when it comes down to it, the kids don't care. It just gets on my nerves. By the way, I also bought "Sesame Street - Kids' Favorite Songs" at the same time and the sound was bad on that as well. Something about this collection...

Summary: we love elmo!
Review: My daughter is obsessed with Elmo. We have an Elmo doll, elmo books, we are constantly playing elmo games on the computer and this video is playing CONSTANTLY! In fact we watched it three times in a row this morning, and I know its not the last time in the day. I really like this video because it is actually educational, the songs and dialogue really teach good lessons. The only thing that is not so great is that my daughter gets really really frightened when elmo falls in the "heavy and light" song, she has cried, screamed in horror, and yelled "elmo boo boo!" every time she watches it. We usually fast forward this segment. Otherwise she loves this video!

Summary: Keeps child entertained but could be longer
Review: My daughter is 11 months old and enjoys watching Seasame Street. She especially loves ELMO! This is my first DVD/VHS children's video purchase and was somewhat disappointed. Even though she was thoroughly entertained I was displeased that the DVD running time was only 30 minutes. I probably should have looked into this minor detail before purchasing but I also bought the "Wake Up with Me Elmo" and that was 50 minutes so didn't think to check the running time on Best of.
Would have been better with at LEAST 3 more episodes. But, since child is happy and doesn't mind watching it multiple times mother is happy.
I also recommend purchased the "Blue's Clues - Get to Know Joe" DVD and this is 5 episodes long.

Review: I bought this DVD for my son at Christmas, and honestly didn't know much about Elmo at the time. WOW! He asks to watch this every day (even twice) and despite having seen and heard it for 6 months, he loves it more and more each day. I even find myself replaying certain songs, like "Heavy and Light" for my own enjoyment! We now own several Elmo videos (and are buying more), but this is absolutely our favorite. A definate must have!

Review: I can only judge this DVD based on my daughters reaction. SHE LOVES IT. It offers a bunch of singing which she likes a lot. The only parts that bore her is when Mr. Noodle is on doing his silly stuff. Since she's a fan of Elmo she will like just about all of the DVD's. You can't go wrong with this DVD...good investment.

Review: Of all the public access characters Elmo is the only one my daughter seems to have found interest in. I bought her three Elmo DVD's for Christmas, this is the only one she will watch from start to finish. Elmo has helped her to learn her body parts. At 18 months, she can point to every body part requested from her. She knows the number two follows one. Six follows five and so on. She does not know all of 1 - 10 yet but I bet a few more months with Elmo and this DVD will go beyond it's dollar value.
