Review: Barney the well known loveable purple dinosuar is now in his first hit movie. Many reviews say that Barney is the worst show on the planet. The little kids don't know that. They think Barney is the best show on the Earth....... Parents it's up to you... I don't watch Barney, but heres a secret Barney sure cheers me up.. Barney is sure more educated then "The Simpsons"

Review: Barney's Great Adventure was a horrible example of what this loveable purple dino is capeable of. Ive never seen such a boring and unpurpousful presentation! It reminded me of a jar of moldy Grey Poupon!

Review: Enough.PLEASE.I just hate Barney,not because i'm to old for it,but it sings non-stop!I watched an episode just to see how it was from a long time ago,and you know what?I wanted to scream.Kids had horrible ugly smiles the size of watermelons,Barney jumped all over the place like he had WAY too much caffine,and the songs were so cheesy that a kids brain would turn to mush.What's the plot now?Oh,i remember.Barney and his ugly kids take a fun litte trip to Grandpa's farm(who's Grandpa,i'm wondering?) and find that a magical egg--which is due to hatch any moment--is missing!GASP!Now Barney has to find a stupid egg!Which animal did it come from,hm?A chicken-cow mutation?Mabye a gerbil!Please,whatever you do,don't see this if your a young'n.AT ALL.

Review: For everyone that seems that barney is a no good dino,I'm sure he thinks the same as you. My son is only turning 11 mths. old & has been watching barney since he was alot younger. Even if he couldn't understand it sure has helped him.He has learned to speak so many words and not by my family's teaching, he has become a very bright child and a very happy one also. I couldn't imagine taking his barney away!! My son is white/hispanic his father speaks spanish to him but his family dosen't live close by for my son to hear it constantly, so i bought him the spanish version and he is as much interested in it as he was when we rented the american version.I'm tired of people talking bad of barney can you think of what your putting in our childrens mind? Review: I am 92 years old and I love to watch Barney! I sit down with my grandkids (and my teddy) and watch Barney and Friends every day! I love the movie! I love how Barney eats the kids in evey episode. When my maid changes my diaper, I watch the movie!

Review: I can hardly believe a Barney movie that doesn't irritate me to death. My kids (7, 3, and 1) LOVE it. It is action packed, fast paced, and wonderful for kids of all ages. My son has ADHD and it is difficult to get him to quietly watch anything, but he will watch this without so much as blinking. I am not a big Barney fan, but this one has my vote for a great investment.

Review: I have a 2 year old neice that watches this DVD 2 to 4 times a day, 5 days a week. She loves it and often dances to the songs and speaks to the characters - her fav being the boy Cody. If anyone has a young child, this is a must have movie to keep happy.

Summary: My son loved it !
Review: I read where one person wrote the movie wasn't for children under four...I totally disagree. My 20 month old son loved it. He watched the entire movie ( more than once) and laughed and danced along with it. I know he can't fully understand everything that went on, but it certainly got his attention. He does watch Barney, Sesame Street and other TV shows, but this is the first MOVIE he sat through and watched till the end. So do not deprive your child, regardless of age, of watching the movie. Afterall every child is different and you won't know if yours will like it until you let them watch it !

Summary: Great kids movie - ho hum for the parents who take them
Review: I took my daughter to see it at the theater. Sure, it wasn't the grand theatrical experience for me, but I wasn't going for my personal enjoyment! My daughter was enthralled for the first half and got restless for the second half, but that's a 3 year old for you. I got a kick out of seeing how much she enjoyed it. We have it on video as well and she and her little sister enjoy it very much.
