Summary: Great player when it works.
Review: I also had the player die with the H07 error after about 14 months. I wrote a quick guide to fixing it here: http://www.ledcar.com/pdvdh07/

Hope this helps.

Summary: Another H07 Paper Weight
Review: 9 months of pretty good use, then squat. The people who are writing positive reviews about this DVD player haven't owned it a year yet.

Smells like a class-action suit to me. Where do I sign up?

Summary: Good Present for Family
Review: It is one of the most affordable yet quality DVD plyer. I bought this for my sister for Christmas. She like it and the there's a neat graphical display when you do the set up. Only thing she misses is that it takes only one DVD at a time.

Summary: The Dreaded H07 Strikes Again!
Review: This player worked great initially. However, now my warranty is out and it has the H07 error. The labor and down time is not worth it to fix it, so into the trash it goes. What a waste! Don't buy this. Put my name on a class action, please!

Summary: Another member of the H07 club...
Review: Can't believe Panasonic didn't do a recall on this item.

1 year and 24 days later.. H07 error.

It's now ready for the garbage bin.

Thanks Panasonic I hate you!

Summary: H07 just after the warranty ran out
Review: Like countless others I've gotten the dreaded H07 (spindle motor has died) error just after the warranty ran out. My dissatisfaction grew when I realize that this seems to happen to almost all of the units sold (judging from the response I got when web searching on "Panasonic H07") and yet Panasonic has done nothing about it (aside from set labor changes high enough that you could buy a new player for cheaper).

Summary: H07 error fixed with a little oil
Review: For those of you that are getting this error code, try a couple of drops of 3in1 oil on the motor spindle. Ours died a couple of days ago and I opened it up to find the dvd not spinning. A couple drops of oil on the shaft, work it in, and we're back in business (for now).

Summary: h07 error too, broken player after 7 months
Review: I had my player for 7 months and it just now stopped. It will cost about 100 bucks to repair, and I'm sorry, that's not worth it. I bought a new player today, NOT a Panasonic. I suggest you buy something that has at least a 1yr parts & warranty deal, or get it at Best Buy with extended 2yr warranty. But yup, this was quite frustrating, even though I liked it as long as it lasted.

Summary: DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
Review: Hi...

I bought a DVD Player (RV32) from a shop in Australia sometimes last year. The player worked fine and I was so greatful that I had bought it. However, to my disappointment, a few weeks ago an error code of H07 appeared on the player.

I have already taken it twice to a panasonic service center to be fixed but the same error code kept on appearing.

Please can something be done about this problem because I think I have wasted my money in buying this player. Is there a possibility of me getting another player since I haven't been watching any movies since I had the problem

Thanks a lot and waiting for a reply.

Summary: So-so
Review: Hi,
I have had good luck with this dvd player, except for what has turned out to be a minor problem. Read on, though, because this seems to be a COMMON problem with this unit.
How to Fix the H07 error code
Like so many others, after 7 mths with this dvd player, the panasonic DVD-RV32S, I got the "dreaded" H07 error code. I checked the manual, followed the reset instructions, and could not get rid of the code. Upstairs, then, to do a google search: 294 hits for "panasonic" "h07", mostly comments to the effect that it's time for a new DVD player.
There were 2 glimmers of hope: one person stated that he sent the player to panasonic and for $45, shipping incl, they repaired the player.
The other was a fellow who took apart his player (very easy: 6 screws), and figured out that H07 means that the motor won't run. He blew in some compressed air and manually spun the motor and got it to work for 2 more movies.
Well, figuring I had nothing to lose and reasoning that maybe all the motor needed was some lubrication, I squirted a couple of drops of oil at the base of the motor spindle.
I did this last Thursday (11-13). My wife and I watched Dvd's all weekend. So, if you've got one of these players, and you've getting this code, with a minimum of mechanical ability, some oil, and a philips screw driver, I think you can resolve this annoying problem.
Note: At first, I oiled the wrong part, the piece that the Dvd rests on. So, the first time I tried it, I got a message that the dvd couldn't be read. If you do this, not to worry. I removed the dvd, wiped off the dvd, wiped out the excess oil out of the player, and both player and dvd are fine.
