Toshiba SD-2300 NUON DVD Player

Review: This is the best you will find, for the price. I looked at and tried out, at least 50 different DVD players. I returned two to the stores, as I was not at all happy with their performance. I settled on the Toshiba SD2300 because it has the most features found. I compared it's Colorstream to Progressive Scan on higher priced models and found very little differance. This is a great picture. The unit is loaded with features: 1. Extremely easy to set up 2. Really cool Light Machine feature, that can be used during CD playback-It's like your very own Lazer Show, with patterns you can change and that vary with the music. My grandkids love the Light Machine. It's great on the large screen TV. 3. The zoom-in and varied angle features, as well as the best forward and reverse that you can imagine. 4. Nuon technology. Toshiba, as well as other manufacturers, are planning to add additional elements for use on the Nuon machines. Toshiba has a fantastic support group, that will personally answer any questions you may have on the Nuon technology, games available, where to locate games, how Nuon technology is planning to connect through the internet in the future and any problems you may have. This is one piece of equipment, that takes the place of five. This DVD player does need to be positioned in a place where it "Won't be Bumped," as that can cause the picture to break up momemtarily, into those little square pixels. This has'nt happened for me, since I put it onto a stable entertainment center.
