Summary: average changer, but it will die
Review: this changer died a month out of warranty. it displays a "H07" error code which Panasonic says will cost $85 to repair. I can choose from dozens of single-disc players with the same or more features than this unit. google for "panasonic dvd-cp67 h07" and you'll get lots of hits. mine's going in the trash. avoid Panasonic DVD players. I have a Panasonic TV set that works fine, but their DVD players are worthless.

Summary: Bargain, great picture, annoying remote
Review: This is a great bargain, has good features, and a perfect Progressive-Scan picture. The remote control is irritating: very poorly organized, and with the important keys buried in amongst the rarely-used ones.

Summary: average changer, but it will die
Review: This is an overall excellent DVD/CD player with a microthin profile. Picture is tight on my 27" WEGA with RCA out. The 5 disc changer is easy to understand and change. There's plenty of audiophile stats and reviews to see the plus/minuses of this unit. My biggest issue is that it lags in the eject and switch discs; there are some buffer overruns making some movie watching pause. But mostly, I'm dumbfounded with the ridiculously small remote control layout. I guess Panasonic assumes you have a unviersal remote.

Summary: The best DVD around!
Review: This is the third DVD player I've owned. The previous two were both Toshiba, which was a big disappointment. The two main reasons why I like this DVD player is that 1) it is able to play MP3s on a CD randomly (thank God!), and 2) it can play DVD-RW v.01 discs! I created some homemade DVD videos through my PC and recorded them on a DVD-RW v.01 disc, and the unit played it! What a great deal! The unit also produces awesome pictures on my TV. The pictures are so clear. I've not tried the unit's progressive scan option yet since I don't own an HDTV. This is the best DVD player around for its price plus the rebate. Great job, PANASONIC!

Summary: Buyer Beware!
Review: This player was great...while it worked. Unfortunately, this was only for about 6 months, soon after this time it began displaying an H02 error code and would not play any discs. After being on hold for almost an hour, Panasonic informed me that I would have to ship it for repairs and pay $85! After researching a bit online, I found that this is a common problem with this player and often will happen again after being repaired. Definitely consider a different brand if you want a high quality piece of equipment that will last.

Summary: No buyer's remorse! Great unit, excellent price.
Review: This unit replaced an older Panasonic DVD player, and the brand name influenced my decision to purchase this model. I had also read a good review on a similar model by Panasonic and decided to take the plunge when the price dropped below $150. To summarize, the colors are fantastic, and the unit played all the discs I tried (mp3, VCD, CDR, etc). Also, the remote control does indeed have small buttons, but it really doesn't bother me at all. The only complaint I have is that the model cannot determine the type of disc (i.e., DVD, VCD, etc) in the tray position until it actually plays it. Also, there's no way to tell which DVD is in which position (which may be a common complaint for all multi-disc DVD players). But, when all is said and done, I have no regrets!

Summary: H07 error
Review: Yes, I recently got the H07 error code too, after almost 2 years. I recently bought a Sony and is much happier with it in term of remote/easy of use/able to read many dvd formats...
