Review: I bought this DVD player about a year ago. I find that it does freeze on rare occassion (only when you first put the dvd in) but when I stop and restart the dvd it will play fine. It seems to freeze if the DVD is turned on with the DVD in it before you have it on the correct channel to play dvds on your TV. But I think that for the money it is a good buy and I have had no other problems with this DVD player, and I think that the freezing is very minimal.

Summary: is this truly the best we can get
Review: we purchased this dvd player a year ago and have not been pleased since we first began using it. it freezes on the majority of our dvd's, both rentals and new, and now it refuses to play any dvd's or cd's at all. we are looking for a new dvd player and in looking at other reviews it seems that a variety of dvd players and all brands are subject to these problems. i hate to think this is the way of the future. videos seem so much easier to use.
