Description:
JVC's affordably priced XV-S200BK features high-end component-video outputs, built-in MP3 decoding, and a dual-laser pickup for compatibility with not only DVDs and CDs, but CD-Rs and CD-RWs as well. Component-video outputs minimize scan lines and digital artifacts on compatible televisions, and composite- and S-video outputs assure compatibility with nearly any set. A pair of left/right analog-audio outputs channel audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio outputs (one each of RCA coaxial and Toslink optical) for direct connection to a full-featured audio/video receiver. If you don't have a surround receiver or six-channel speaker setup, you can still make every movie night the ultimate experience: 3D-Phonic virtual surround sound simulates surround through two speakers (even the stereo speakers on a TV). The player offers high-resolution stereo sound courtesy of JVC's custom one-bit P.E.M. D.D. digital-to-analog audio converter. Other features include digest (for visual access to desired title/chapter), a high-resolution GUI (graphical user interface), and picture zoom. The player comes with a composite-video/stereo analog-audio interconnect, user's manual, and a glow-in-the-dark remote control.
