Summary: Plays everything - Kinda pricy
Review: I've had this DVD player for about a year now. It plays everything I've put in it. Picture quality is what you'd expect from a DVD player. It passes Dolby Digital and DTS signals on the your reciever. Overall, it's a solid DVD player though there are a couple things I don't like. The first is that it's kinda pricy. Newer JVC dvd players are just as good and can be had for almost half of what this one goes for. The other is that there's a bright red light that comes on, when you turn it off. Having a very bright light turn on to show that the unit is off is kinda stupid and rather annoying. I covered mine with a piece of electrical tape.

Some things that I like about this player is the zoom feature. You can zoom and pan on any portion of the screen both while it's frozen and while it's playing. This would really be an awesome feature for watching widescreen movies in full screen if only the display for the zoom factor and panning didn't cover 25% of the screen. It's still a good feature but not as good as it could be.

Another nice thing is that if you watch half a DVD, take it out and watch another, then put the first one back in, it remembers where you were. I don't know how common this feature is, but it's very nice.

Overall, it's a nice flexible DVD player. The newer onces have more features and cost less now. Unless you are getting a great deal, buy the newer ones.
