Summary: Fantastic DVD Player for the money!
Review: I currently own (2) DVD players... A panasonic with the DIVX feature #410 & the #120, which I use in the bed room... I love the picture & sound quality! I would highly recoment it! I'm not going to say the $700 - $1000 players arnt better, but I'd rather have two #120's there great!

Summary: great picture quality and features
Review: I have bought this player and are completely satisfied by the image quality and sound it produces. For what it worth, it has more features (like virtual surrond sound) than most other players for the same amount of money.

Summary: Might Be Just Mine....They Aren't Good.
Review: I have a Panasonic DVD Player. As I have read here I have problems with it. Certain CDs will only play for a very short time or not at all. The picture gets grainy then it locks up. I called Panasonic and they were little help. They told me to take it back to the place I bought it from. Like most people I threw my receipt away prior to buying a movie that wouldn't play. I initially thought it was bad CDs. I was told otherwise though.

The players wont play around one in five CDs. Its kind of frustrating.

Review: I bought this model based on the positive reviews on this site. I am not disappointed. A terrific picture and sound. It's all I wanted in a DVD player. I highly recommend.

Summary: Within two years it was a goner
Review: I was initially pleased with this unit, and why not, you'd load the DVDs and they'd play. Duh. DVDs were a new thing, a novelty. But then the problems began -- the player would lock up during layer changes. Then more serious stuff reared its ugly face, related to the now well-known Panasonic "NO DISC" problem, a symptom that the optical pickup on my player, like thousands of others, was failing. Eventually, it refused to read any DVDs at all. Two years and out. That was it. I'll never buy Panasonic again, that's for sure. Summary: Be a little wary of Panasonic DVD players
Review: I received a Panasonic 105U model for Christmas last year. The picture is quite good and the audio fine. The unit began freezing and skipping till it would eventually only play about 20 minutes of a film before locking. It took Panasonic about two months of phone calls before they finally repaired this for me. (I received e-mails from other people from a review site who had the same trouble). It works now (since July) with one exception. It does not play certain DVDs, such as Criterion's "High and Low." It's not about bad discs. Something about how the disc is being mastered being incompatible with the decoder Panasonic uses on some models. I read another review recently where someone else specifically mentioned this disc. Criterion told him it would not play on that model. Again, I'm happy with the picture. When it works, it's very good. But it caused me a lot of trouble.

Summary: Very, very pleased
Review: This was my first DVD player--I bought it two days ago. Even on a 25" Magnavox TV, I was amazed at how much better it looks than VHS! It has a lot of features and is easy to use. My experience was very smooth and I am now addicted to the DVD format.

Summary: best dvd player i could find for under $1,000.
Review: this dvd player not only has dts out, it also has component video out. your tv might not have a plug for this yet, but it is taking the enterainment industry by storm and your next tv will.

Summary: A keeper
Review: I'm keeping this one. The sound and video quality of all DVDplayers is quite good, so it becomes a matter of features and ease ofuse. The Panasonic excels in both. The remote is well organized and the buttons are not too small. The user manual is very clear and complete. Add to that advanced features like component video outputs, both types of digital audio outputs, and two analog audio/video outputs, and you have a winner.
