Disney Princess DVD Player

Summary: This just doesn't work
Review: I was satisfied with the DVD player when we first purchased it for our four year old during Christmas. The DVD player had large buttons and animated features just right for our daughter. Then, two months later, the system shut down and does not work at all. We tried cleaning and checking wires but to no avail. I would recommend shopping around for something with durability and not something cute.

Summary: DVD looks great, but don't work so great
Review: We bought this and the matching tv for our daughter for Christmas. They look great, but here is the problem with the dvd player. On the actual dvd's, you have various options that you can go into when the dvd starts. With the disney remote, the only way you can go is to play the movie. The remote has no buttons that allow you to go to various menu options. I am not sure what they were thinking. Probably that a child would just put the movie in and hit play. But with dvds, there are a lot of additional things that you can go into.

Review: We purchased the tv and dvd player for our daughter for Christmas, after 3 months the dvd will not recognize dvd's, even brand new ones. It will only play cd's. We tried cleaning it with a laser lens cleaner but it still will not work. We were told by Memorex that for 45.00 plus shipping to them they would repair it but would only have another 90 days warranty. No thanks, I'll just buy a plain $40.00 dvd player, seems they are made better!
