Summary: Why so limited???
Review: Okay, I haven't seen this movie, but I REALLY want to see it! But what the heck is this "limited release" crap! I mean, Pokemon 3 was released in almost every single theater! And this one was released in my area...2 THEATERS!!! Come on people! A lot of people still like Pokemon, including me, so why are they doing this? This is so stupid! Don't get me wrong! I would love to see this move, regardless of what movie raters say. And, also, why were the ratings so low? Yet again, Pokemon 3's ratings were great! And for this one, just about every review I saw was bad. On moviefone.com, the overall rating was 2 STARS!!!

Hopefully, they will change their minds and release this in every theater, hopefully some time soon. But that is a lot of "hopefullys", so people who can't seem to find it in a theater close by, I wouldn't keep my hopes up!!!

Summary: A pokemon movie even a Mom could love!!
Review: Our whole family likes this movie. The story is well developed, interesting and creative. The focus of the story is good old fashioned, good vs. evil, without the gratuitous violence. I found myself surprised to be enjoying this movie. It's very creative and fun. What is even more remarkable is the open display of emotion towards the end of the movie. This is truly something rare, but needed, in movies that are generally for boys.

Even Mom gives this movie two thumbs up!

Summary: Awesome art with awesome characters; doesn't get any better
Review: Personally, I love the art aspect of Pokemon in general, but this DVD was certainly the best. My favorite extra feature is the one where you get to see the progression of the animation; it's interesting and helps one understand how they managed to do it! I also enjoyed watching the advertisements for the upcoming movie. Not many extra features, but enough to keep me happy (besides, you buy the DVD for the actual movie anyway, right?)

Although I guess that Pokemon is a "kids" thing, I saw quite a bit of symbolism in this (such as the lake, shaped as a figure eight [when turned sideways: infinity]). The theme is rather straight forward (which is a bit of a shame if you like figuring things out), but it's definitely a great movie for both the young and old. The ending is a bit of a surprise as well :)

Of course, the characters are timeless. The mini movie (Pikachu's Pikaboo) is VERY cute, and even if a young child can't sit through the full length movie, I'm sure they'd enjoy watching Pikachu and his buddies being chased by a rogue lawnmower (who wouldn't?).

Definitely worth buying, this is one you can watch over and over again. Personally, I thought that most of the previous movies didn't have very good balance between fun and seriousness, but this one is perfect :)

Summary: A Masterpiece
Review: Pokemon 4ever is without a doubt the most spectacular of all the Pokemon films. 4Kids did a very nice job with the dub, keeping the original Japanese music and everything. America even added about 3 minutes of animation this time, making one of the movie's big secrets more obvious. The emotional impact is incredible, especially at the end, but I'm not saying anything. Just bring some tissues. It has incredible animation, epecially with the CGI monster. I only wish Miramax would have treated this with more respect. It was released at a maximum of 249 theaters, and was promoted for under 1 million, which is incredibly cheap(for movie promotion). All in all a good film, which I reccomend to even those who don't like Pokemon.

Summary: Surprised me
Review: The movie is great, Maramax really did a nice job. Good thing Warner Bro gave it up....they riped them apart and added that awful cheesy music. I have seen BOTH Japanese and American versions and yes it is well translated and my biggest surprise was the added parts in the American version. It seemed to make the movie close much better then the original. NICE!

Summary: "The Pokemon excitment continues..."
Review: The next Pokemon movie stars two new Pokemon, Suicine and Celebi. A boy, 40 years earlier, saves Celebi and they both go to the present, where they meet Ash Ketchum and company. Meanwhile, a evil guy plans to turn Celebi to the dark side with the 'Dark Ball', a machine that turns good Pokemon to bad! Will Ash and his new friend Sammy save the forest, and Celebi?!

Summary: One of the most wonderful movies of all time!
Review: This is a movie thats absolutely breathtaking, despite what critics say ...As a 17 year old Pokemon lover, I will say that I've never seen a better movie. I had the chance to see this movie while it was playing in Japan as well, and since then its been my favorite. The CG animations are amazing, the use of surround sound with character voices is wonderful, and of course, the storyline is extremely well written. I know a ton of people who have no interest in Pokemon, yet saw this movie and said it was amazing. Lets show Miramax that Pokemon movies shouldn't be on limited release in theaters and make this DVD a best seller, because it honestly deserves it ~.^ I'll be first in line when this DVD comes out

Summary: Pokemon 4 ever
Review: This is by far the best Pokemon film for it's animation, it's amazing to see your favorite Pokemon and trainers in what seems like the real world! There are only two or so songs on this CD so if they come out with a soundtrack it will be about as short as the "Pokemon World" CD. This is the only Pokemon movie (or episode) I've ever seen where a Pokemon died, you may want to get a box of tissues before the tears start flowing.

The movie was a bout a young professor Oak trying to save Celebi, then being transported into the future by it's special time traveling power. And of course, Ash and friends meet him and they team up to stop a powerful member of Team Rocket from taking over the world. This bad guy captures Pokemon with Dark Balls and turns Pokemon, even the nicest ones like Celebi, into evil Pokemon that want to destroy everything in site.

I would reccomend this movie to thos of us who adore Pokemon, and even to those people out there that don't, because it's an inspiring movie with plenty of emotion and action to satisfy anyone.
