Review: I love this movie. It's one of the few movies I saw when I was younger. That reminded as it was when I saw it years later. It's such a great movies ( mostly for girls I guess. ) However, it's such a fantastic world. It has beautiful back grounds and wonderful characters. I think it's something easy for kids to get interested in.

Review: Dude, there are few cooler movies than this...The dark crystal being one of them. Jim Henson had a great childlike imagination..Now that I'm older though I wonder, did he use drugs?? David Bowie's performance is the shiz, and Jennifer Connolly is HOT!!! And everyone wanted a big lovable pal like Ludo...Not to mention the scene where Hoggle is wizzing in the fairy fountain and then commences to killing fairies!!! How can you go wrong with that?

Summary: Dream or Reality?
Review: This is one of my most favorite movies. It's one of those rare films that stayed fresh until I saw again last year. I wasn't disappointed with it at all. Sometimes with movies you h ave false memories of how the story went.
I didn't have a problem like that with this movie at all. Even though there are not many characters in this film ( it mostly revolves around Sarah and King Jareth. ) It is a lot of fun to watch.
It's a great way to get kids interested in fantasy and some what of a family movie as well.

Summary: Wow.
Review: When I was 11 years old, running around the local Blockbuster, I saw a clip on one of the in-store TV's that made me stop and watch. A girl, who actually looked very similar to myself and was named Sarah, strangely enough, was inching across a crumbling stone ledge, accompanied by an odd-looking dwarf. My curiosity was piqued.

Later I found out that this movie was called Labyrinth. Despite not being the avid fantasty fan that I am now, I still wanted to see it.

I'm 15 now (Sarah's age in the movie...creepy!), and I just saw Labyrinth for the first time this winter. Now, I consider myself a huge fan. I've watched it three times during my spring break, and I'm planning on purchasing both the DVD and the soundtrack CD.

Reasons for watching?
-If you're a guy, Jennifer Connelly is admittedly very pretty (if you can sit through the beginning...she's quite..melodramatic.)
-If you're a girl, four words: DAVID BOWIE, EXTREME PANTS. Quite funny, actually. But let me just say, oddly and unexpectedly, David as Jareth is one of the sexiest things I've seen in my young life. Oh-so-evilly-bish.
-If you appreciate a good technical production, the old-school effects and puppetry might appeal to you. Ditto for Henson fans.

How about THIS reason: the movie is amazing! At times, the dialogue might seem cutesy or redundant, but in general, this movie is great. The music's not half bad, either. As the world falls DOOOOOWN......

Summary: YES! finally it happened!
Review: I have adored this movie since my childhood and for years ive been waiting for a dvd that did this movie justice and finally it's here! Labyrinth is a fairy tale coming of age movie. Sarah by accident wishes her little brother away saying ' i hope the goblins come and take you away right now' and indeed they do. Sarah is then faced with the meancing and exceedingly sexy goblin king played (fantastically) by david bowie. The goblin king then states she may only get her little brother back if she gets through the labyrinth. The movie is then an adventure story as Sarah tries to get through the labyrinth in time and learn some things about growing up. I watched this film when i was five Jareth (bowie) became my first love and the magical world of labyrinth became a favourite among my movies. What i adore most about this film is the fact i can still enjoy it now for it's deeper meaning and undertones and when watching it you find new things that you never notiched before it's so rich and detailed that it takes several watchings to take it all in! It's so a unique movie that except for dark crystal there is nothing else like it. I love fantasy movies in general but this i think is one of the best children will adore the cute goblins and creatures and adults will love the darker meanings and under tones truly a movie for all!

Review: Only part I never liked was the part with the bird things that blow apart. Shocked by the pee scene (first movie where I'd ever seen that). I love mazes and this is a good movie.

Summary: Cool movie
Review: This movie is so cool! When I was 10, my friend had a sleepover and her dad rented this movie for everyone to watch. My mom wouldn't let me go because she thought the movie looked "evil." So, when I saw it now, as an adult, I had to buy it! I love it....and, actually, my mom does, too. I think she was just freaked out by David Bowie's spiky hair.
