Summary: Entertaining and Fun!
Review: In this delightful movie from director Jim Henson, a teen-age girl's baby sibling is kidnapped by the Goblin King. Attempting to get her young sibling back, the girl (played wonderfully well by Jennifer Connelly)goes through a twisting, confusing, frightning labyrinth. Though this movie is fun and exciting, at times it can seem dull---but keep watching and you most likely will enjoy this great flick.

Summary: Best movie ever!
Review: This is not only for Bowie/Connelly/Henson fans! I saw this movie when I was 6 and it has been my favorite movie since! It's about a teenage girl who wishes that goblins from a book would come and take her baby brother away, and they do! Buy this movie!

Summary: Nice entertaining movie that's not just for kids
Review: This movie's all right. It's not GREAT or anything, but it's fun to watch on an afternoon when you have nothing else to do. Jennifer Connelly did a very good job as Sarah, although there's something kind of strange about seeing David Bowie singing with goblin puppets and waving his arms around. He's not exactly threatening...But never mind that. This movie is a whole lot of fun no matter what your age, it's not just for kids.

Summary: I LOVE LABYRINTH!
Review: I absolute, positively LOVE the movie, "Labyrinth"! When I first saw it when I was six years old, I was rolling on the floor with laughter at the goblins and I was both frightened by and enchanted with Jareth, the Goblin King.

By the time I was 10, I was reciting just Sarah's speech over and over.

Now, at the age of fifteen, I write Labyrinth stories and poems. I find myself constantly comparing my mother to Sarah's stepmother and I feel like I AM Sarah! Nearly every night, I have to stay home and babysit my little sister. I've tried many, many times to wish my little sister away, but it didn't work! I'm still enchanted with Jareth, but it is in a MUCH different way. *blushes* I reccomend getting this movie. I reccomend watching it at least twice a day, like I do!

Summary: Beautifully Done!
Review: This movie captured the essence of everything a motion picture should be. The puppets are great for children. The symbolic atmosphere and depth will make anyone think. The genius of Jim Henson and the mystical presence of David Bowie (Jareth) made for a magical movie. Outstanding music. The songs will get stuck in your head and drive you absolutely bonkers!

The DVD really cleaned up the video, wich was good to start with. It gave plenty of extras. I really liked the "Inside the Labyrinth". It was very interesting.

On VHS or DVD, this movie is a must-see for anyone who likes to feel the magic of a fantasy kingdom.

Summary: Muppets and Bowie?-Yes. Often painfully slow?-Yes.
Review: David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, and a cast of muppets... How could you go wrong?

The magic on the screen includes actors doing a great job of acting along side muppets, amazing set design, and creative characters. The story itself is similar to Alice in Wonderland, but the twist is that Alice (in this case "Sarah") must rescue her baby brother. A fairy tale story convincingly set in a fairy tale land.

However, this movie is not without its faults. The downsides are: 1. The movie drags. Not just one little slow spot, but a few. In todays world of attention deficit, it gets hard to stay seated through this movie. And: 2. There is a scene involving "The Fireys" that might upset some younger viewers.

The scenery is amazing, the music is memorable (isn't there a music video out there somewhere from one the songs in the film?) and the muppets are fantastic as supporting cast.

This film should be a good one for the whole family... I just think that a bit more of it belongs on the editing room floor.

Summary: An Enchanting Movie!
Review: WOW. I LOVED this movis so much, that I saw it like 7 times in two weeks..IN THE THEATRE! There was such an enchanting quality to this film..even tho it was a little campy. And Yes, Jareth is HOT! I even had the soundtrack for a while. All the songs are awesome, sing-a-long type songs. I recently rented it to show to my son and daughter and they also love it..especially my daughter. Other Movies if you liked this: Legend(Tom Cruise, Mia Sara)

Summary: wonderful characters, costumes, story line
Review: Also another in my collection. The costumes are just amazing. The old man with the bird on his head that won't stop talking is just a riot. My favourite character will always be the little dog who lives in the bog of eternal stench.....so remember, should you need us, just call.

Summary: My favorite movie
Review: This movie manages to be a children's classic, a long music video, and a trippy adventure all at the same time. It is enchanting, creepy, ridiculous, and it is wonderful! It creates a world that will stay with you just as much as any Wonderland. A must see. I mean it...
