Summary: I bought Kiki for my son but I watch it more than he does.
Review: I just love Kiki and I'm not sure why. I try to discover why and I think it's because I can relate to Kiki. Kiki has hit me like no other film has. I just get a good feeling about this child type. There is no violance or evil about this type. Just a nice young girl looking to make it on her own. I would like to see a sequil of this type. Maybe Kiki and Tombo will go on and marry.

Summary: This movie is so great for a preschooler!
Review: Briefly, this movie is entertaining and funny. There are no "evil" doers in this movie as many kids movies have too often. Just a girl struggling for her independence and discovering who she is.My kids, 2&4, love this movie and so do I.

Summary: a delight
Review: Seeing Kiki makes you realize that the usual Disney obsession with some evil, scary antagonist out to totally destroy the hero is probably just educating thier viewers to paranoia, distrust and other emotional sickness. Kiki is a beautiful, natural vision of life - about a kid growing up and learning to function in a society where people care and help each other. Pretty delightful. And beautiful art to boot.

Summary: Brilliant
Review: Kiki's delivery service is a pinnacle in the art of animation. Forget disney. Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece is one of the most tender, beautifully structured and detailed film I've ever seen. It refused to stuck in the good vs. evil situation; the film is very humane, with believable characters that you'll likely to care.

I recommended this film to everyone. I can't wait to see Princess Mononoke on the big screen.

Summary: Great!
Review: This movie is great! The subtitled widescreen version is the best version. The dubbed version changes some of the songs! But, if you like Phil Hartman, get the dub too...

Summary: I brought Kiki for my son and I love it more.
Review: I just love Kiki. I believe I like Kiki because I can relate to her even though she is still a child and I am an adult. There isn't any violance in the movie and the music is calming and delightful.I would love to see an sequel of Kiki and Tombo.

Summary: Miyazaki-sama reigns supreme in animation world.
Review: I'm a 20 years old college student. I do not have little brothers or sister, nor do I have any children. I bought the subbed video and watched it more than 20 times. It never fails to lighten up my feelings everytime I watch it. My anti-anime father loves it. If I have to show one anime to convince people to look into the genre, this would be it.

Summary: Not much needs to be said...
Review: Its a shame that all of Miyazaki's films aren't all released in theaters, and another that there is not a "Disney" section and a "Miyazaki" section at the video store. People simply don't know what they are missing when they see Kiki's in there with Air Bud and Land before time. Luckily, there is certainly talk of The Princess Mononoke being released in the theaters in the U.S., and Laputa: Castle in the Sky is set for release in October. After that, hopefully Disney will back up and release Future Boy Conan, The Crimson Pig, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind so that American audiences can all get what they've been missing. Kiki's is a delightful movie from one of the finest directors of our time. I have had the privelage of seeing Nausicaa and Laputa subtitled, and believe me, they are every bit as good as Kiki and Totoro. Buy this movie and watch for more!!!

Summary: Miyazaki you genious, you have released another masterpiece!
Review: Kiki's deivery service is an anime that can't be described as an anime. Where are all the robots and high tech weaponry and girls in super tight uniforms? Where are all the villians and badguys?? Hey wait a minute, this is a Miyazaki film. I thought it seemed different. And not only different, it's suitable for most audiences. Japanese animation tends not to be this crisp and well done. Fluid motions certianly bring Disney to their knees in animation quality. Disney, why can't you do beautiful movies like Miyazaki? Why are you only in the movie buisness for the cash you make? Why can't you show reality of a childs life in your films? Why don't you have any cute talking black cats?

Summary: Kiki's Delivery Service best "Disney" release ever!!!!!
Review: Ok, so "Disney" only released it...But Miyazaki is a true artist. I loved this movie os much that i've bought both versions and tell everyone to see it. This is a wonderful film that everyone should see! Princess Mononoke, the latest Miyazaki film will be released in October by Miramax in the theater, if you liked Kiki's you will love Mononoke. I sat with a 7 and 10 year old and watched Mononoke in Japanese and we all loved it! Can't wait for the english version.

See Kiki's and any other Miyazaki film, you will have a great time. See My Neighbor Totoro, just as good!
