Summary: You remind me of the Babe!
Review: This is one of the finest movies I have ever seen in my entire life, and although I am only a mere 22 years old, I consider this a great feat as I have seen many an excellent movie. This movie is great because it is the kind of movie that makes you believe in dreams and in fantasies. It takes you away from the mundane life you may be wasting away and gives you faith in your spirituality. If you don't believe me, see it for yourself! It'll make you a believer!

Summary: The Labyrinth rules
Review: I've read a few reviews regarding the DVD transfer which point out how dodgy some of the scenes look. In my opinion none of the scenes should be touched up to look better, the current transfer is fantastic. The only negative thing about this DVD is that it lacks a dolby digital 5.1 sound track(even though the box has the DD logo). It only has surround 2.0.

The making of the labyrinth is also included on the DVD which is also interesting to watch.

Its a shame that some kids have grown up and not seen the labyrinth or the dark crystal.

Summary: Unbeatable combination of talent...
Review: This movie was incredible. One of my all-time favorites. The combination of talents that brought this movie to the silver screen was absolutely amazing and in my humble opinion, unmatched to this date. George Lucas, Jim & Brian Henson, Brian Froud, David Bowie, and Terry Jones (Monty Python) all pulled together to create a wonderful fantasy that is sure to be enjoyed by any age. I was 15 when I first saw it and I'm 30 now. I still watch it at least once a week with my daughters who absolutely adore it. This movie is definately a MUST SEE in my book. I've never met anyone who didn't enjoy it and I'm not sure I'd like to.

Summary: It ain't Tolkien, it ain't Lewis, but I love it!
Review: Labyrinth is (in my honest opinion) an excellent movie, with the best screen representation of Goblins I have yet seen. David Bowie (although he looks to be more Elf than Goblin) does a wonderful Goblin King. The movie has excellent scenery (who can forget the Oubliette or the Bog of Eternal Stench?), great makeup (like Hoggle the Dwarf, and Ludo the Yeti), and expert puppetry(great examples are the head-tossing fire sprites and those nondescript Goblins). I definitely recommend the movie Labyrinth.

Also of interest to a fan of this film is A Field Guide to Goblins: A Goblin Companion, written by the movie's author, Terry Jones and illustrated by Brian Froud, the author/illustrator of Faeries and Good Faeries/Bad Faeries.

Summary: Escapeism at its best!
Review: Yes I am one of those people who have been waiting for years for this video to be re-released and yes I am a Bowie fan, but I was a fan of his music long before this movie came out. Labyrinth just enforced my devotion to his work. I think he makes a intriging and convincing Goblin King. The backgrounds and brooding musical score will make you wish for a world you could live in and stay with the Fieries, Hoggle, Ludo and definitely, the Goblin King. If I where Sara, I would have stayed in the Labyrinth.

Summary: sweet story with a sweet plot
Review: Allright you are probably thinking another 80's movie with singers being wanna-be actors. For all of you thinking that i only have one word for you, WRONG! I have seen this movie so many time i could probably recite it by now. If you are wondering about the plot, which i might add is a good one, it is very well composed. It has action, adventure, suspense, and crazyieness. All in all it has all the ingredience for a "2 thumbs up" movie. I can't talk for everybody, but all the people that i know including myself that have seen this movie love it! If you are wondering why i love it i will let you in on it now. When i watch this movie I just wonder how anyone could have just come up with something so good. It is so intricate and deep that i can't even describe it. I guess the only way you people will ever know what i am talking about is to see it. whatch it you will fall in love with it!

Summary: What's the Big Deal?
Review: I've viewed this movie twice, once as a child and once a few months ago and I don't understand what is so great about the film or David Bowie. I would not reccomend this movie for children as the premise is rather frightening, at least I thought so when I was a kid. Preteens might enjoy it, but they will probably not enjoy David Bowie because he is ugly and his music isn't very good.

Summary: Labyrinth is the BEST!
Review: I've seen Labyrinth a hundred times, and I never get sick of it. It's an incredibly imaginative film. Jim Hensen did an incredible job (as always). I definitly suggest this movie to any kid, teen, parent, or grandparent. The characters are creative, funny, and original. The sets are incredible and the acting well done. I have the sound track (which I also recommend) and I have the lyrics to "Magic Dance" memorized. Buy this movie, and you won't be dissappointed.

Summary: You MUST Buy this
Review: At last! I've been searching for this video for YEARS, literally. There's so much to love about this film that it's hard to narrow down the key points. For one thing the movie is good for both adults and children. The kids love the adventure and Henson's puppetry, and adults love the underlying story of Jareth and his fascination with Sarah. (I wanted her to stay with him in the end. I swear...and I'm not the only one!) Anyway, this movie has everything. If you won't BUY it, at least RENT it. You'll see what I mean :o)

Summary: Great Movie !
Review: A classic! It is slow in some parts, but it is made up for. You will love the creatures, and the Bog of Eternal Stinch, pew! Kids will really love it. David Bowie makes a great Goblin King. You have to see this one.
