Review: I can only say that my 14 month old nephew was enthralled by this film...and I found it entertaining as well. Very nicely done! Mandy Patinkin steals the show, and Vanessa Williams little musical number stopped it! Bravo!

Summary: An Elmo movie that grows with your toddler!
Review: My son has watched this movie so many times since he was about 8 months old. He's now 17 months old and loves it still. It's not like other Elmo videos that are very simplistic. It actually is very witty with a captivating plot. I love the movie too! If your child isn't a music lover, he may not appreciate it as much until he gets to be a little older. But if he's musical like my son, the music will grab him even at the younger age.

Summary: He would watch it all day.
Review: My oldest two children had no interest in the movie. My third is more or less glued to the screen when I play it. The way he let me cut his hair while he watched it was worth the money alone. Mandy Patinkin is hysterical, even from the point of view of an adult.
The only downside is that I am thoroughly sick of it, since I don't normally watch movies eighty-five times in a row.

Review: This movie is stupid, including that Vanessa L. Williams starred in this movie, why Roger Ebert should have gave it a TWO THUMBS DOWN, well if he does, I agree with him, anyway, I used to like Sesame Street, but now I am getting older, so I give this * (1 out of 5).

Summary: For toddlers this starts out strong and fizzles
Review: Maybe it's just the nature of being a toddler, but my 28 month old son can't get through this whole movie. He loves Elmo, and asks to watch it, but wanders away after the first 20 minutes or so. It's actually got a bit of a "moral" to the story, which I think may be lost on him at this age.The tapes or DVDs of Elmo's World, including Wild Wild West get a lot more use at our house.

Summary: My Toddler is Glued to This Movie
Review: We've watched it about 12 times now, and every time we put it in, my 15 month old son gets this beatific smile on his face. He just can't get enough of it. The music is fantastic, there is nothing scary, and there are no lulls for your child to get bored. If your kid likes Elmo, he'll love this movie. It's not too hard on parents, either.

Summary: Love Elmo, hate this movie
Review: My 2 year old adores Elmo but gets bored with this movie after just a few minutes. I can't stand it either. We've tried to watch it more than once and still don't know if Elmo ever gets his blanket back because it's so boring we can't finish it!

Summary: Your children will love it, and most likely you will, too
Review: This movie features a real children favorite: Elmo, from Sesame Street. In this movie, Elmo will learn, though his adventures in Grouchland (where Oscar comes from, for the Sesame Strees "experts"!), that it's very important to be able to share, and how this will enrich you as a person and better your relationships. A useful lesson for many, and not only for children! The movie contains many songs, performed by various characters; all of them will be fun to learn, and many of them are also very motivational and with nice words. All children will love this movie, and as a parent, you will be happy that for once, they are learning something while watching TV.

Summary: 21-Month Old unhappy
Review: I wouldn't say my 21-month-old grandson is especially sensitive, but he did not view but the first few minutes of this video. When Elmo slid down into Grouchland he cried, "Elmo!" in a frightened, teary voice. His mom comforted him and left him to view the rest. When Elmo's blanket was snatched the boy sobbed,"Elmoooo!" and cried and cried. The video was turned off and he and mom had some hug time. It may be that he was just too young and in a few months will enjoy this video.

Summary: A gentle movie for preschoolers
Review: This neat little movie is part WIZARD OF OZ and part ALICE IN WONDERLAND. There are plenty of allusions to both of those classic children's movies, although, as the title suggests, the plot roughly tracks that of Alice in Wonderland. It is not Academy Award material, but it is imagination-expanding and quite appropriate for preschoolers. Elmo, Zoe, Oscar the Grouch, Bob, Gordon, Big Bird, Maria and the rest of the Sesame Street gang appear in this movie. Also appearing are Mandy Patinkin as a Wicked Witch of the West-type villian and Vanessa Williams as the beautiful Queen of Trash. The music and singing are first-rate. Both Patinkin's and Williams's vocals are showcased. There is also a very catchey number at the start of the movie featuring percussion, clapping and stomping which preschoolers will love. The visuals are impressive, particularly Elmo's fall through Oscar's bottomless garbage can into a whirling, psychodelic vortex leading to Grouchland. Finally, the movie conveys a number of important messages to young ones (i.e. that forgiveness, friendship, loyalty and persistence are good things; that greed, selfishness and grudges are not).
