Summary: One of the most intriging movies I've ever seen
Review: I currently own Digimon and the 2 Pokemon movies. What I like about movies are that I can watch them over again. But the Pokemon movies, if I try to watch them over again, I can't. The excitement isn't as good as the first time. But when I watch Digimon the movie again, It is as good as the first time. That means it is not a boring movie and I would want to watch it over and over again. If you are a digimon fan then you would enjoy this movie. It has a lot of digi facts. If you have no idea what digimon is and want to see the movie, it is a good idea because the movie is very informative about before the movie and after the movie. So it is definetly a movie I would buy or at least rent to see. Jonathan Richardson gives it a 10/10.

Summary: Digimon are the Champions!
Review: Now im 11 years old and I say that this was the sweetest movie I have EVER SEEN! The animation rocks, it has sweet music, and is ALL ACTION! No offense to pokemon fans but digimon is 1000 times better then both of the pokemon movies together. The beggining of the movie when the digidestined are little kids kicks but, and the music and action make it go together really well. The second part of the movie when the they are older and have defeated Apoclamon rules and has a really good catch to it. The third part of the movie is, well I'd say... Ok. Most of it is good but the ending is short and hard to understand. The digimon are moving so quickly that you can barely understand what they look like and are doing.

WARNING: THE FIRST 13 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE ...... IT'S ALL ADS AND STUPID LITTLE THINGYS SO FAST FORWARD TILL YOU SEE THE 2OTH CENTURY FOX THING.

Review: This movie, it's very bad, the plot is dumb,and it's very derivative and full of holes, the animation it's terrible and horrible, and lifeless, when i saw this movie, i fell asleep, it's even more boring than the first pokemon movie, and by the way, Who says that Pokemon has been totally eclipsed by Digimon?, Hmm..., let's see, Pokemon 2000 grossed more money than Digimon, let's see, Pokemon 2000 Box-Office Gross:42 million dollars, Digimon Box-Office Gross: 9 million dollars, now returning to the movie, when i gotted home, i was really really relieved, I turned on my DVD player and played "Princess Mononoke" a truly quality anime film, and also turned "The Castle of Cagliostro" when Mononoke ended,hey all of you who check out this page, better see "Princess Mononoke", or "The Castle of Cagliostro" or "Grave of the Fireflies", or "My Neighbor Totoro" or "Kiki's Delivery Service, than this piece of trash, that it's nothing but a stupid piece of trash.

Review: First of Digimon is anime and Fox butchured it should of been un-cut and with the three complete movies instead of pieced together. Second it's not even in widescreen its in full screen. Third its a DVD where are the features. I want trailers tv spot, special, scenes. The movie was good but the DVD SUCKS!!!

Summary: A flawed adaption
Review: Anyone who has watched this show will instantly recognize it as being completely different from Pokemon, and will see how ignorant many of the comparisons to it are. The fact remains that Digimon did in fact, come out before Pokemon, and that the show has an infintely deepr plot that its "collect-'em-all" counterpart. The characters in Digimon are kids struggling with real life issues. Two of the characters are brothers split apart by their parents' divorce, and another is dealing with the realization that his parents died after he was born, and that he's adopted. The show deals with these honestly and in an upfront manner never before seen on Saturday morning television. At times it can be really emotional, although many of the more serious and graphic elements of the story have been edited for American televsion (the show is produced in Japan, and dubbed with English-speaking actors for release here). Ultimately, this movie underwent the same fate, with other major liberties taken.

Digimon: The Movie is packed with lots of action, but it lacks the heart that it displays every week on the show. Originally released as three shorter films in Japan, they are pasted together somewhat convincingly for a proper American release, although viewers will probably still feel like they are watching 3 separate episodes, minus commercials. Each segment has a distinct visual look to it, taking place at 3 differnet times of the Digimon story. English dialogue is put in place of the oringinal Japanese soundtrack, and the dubbing is done convincingly by the very talented voice actors that are heard on the American version of the show. However, some of the dialogue is changed slightly, and a few of the more interesting scenes were discarded for unknown reasons. The movie is barely 90 minutes long, so surely it wasn't for time!

The final product is a better film that either of the two Pokemon movies of the past 2 years, but it remains a somewhat jumbled mess. Near its end, the animation is supurb, but the action is too chaotic to make any sense of (especially for younger viewers, although they probably won't complain). There are much better anime films that are both entertaining and apropriate for kids that would be a better buy than this. Fans of the show will enjoy this, but the uninitiated will be confused by the concept of Digimon and the illogical final cut that does little to explain it.

Review: Okay, this film it's exciting, but lets analize the facts, the plot is dumb!, and so are the characters,the animations is HORRIBLE, when i saw this cartton and movie i asked my self, Where is alln that lifeness that Anime gives to animation, well here there is nothing of that, the characters are very cookie cutter like, this film fails EVEN MORE THAN THE FIRST POKEMON MOVIE, and by the way who is saying that Pokemon it's extinct?, it's not and i can proob it if you analize www.imdb.com on Pokemon 2000 and Digimon the movie.

Review: Digimon the Movie was soooooooo cool. Also it is actually 3 movies in 1 Movie. It starts out with the 1st segment when the Season 1 Digidestined are little kids. Although it only lasts about 15 minutes, they pack a bunch of action in it.

And in the second segment, it is after all the Season 1 Digidestined Kids adventures in the Digiworld are over, or so they think. Izzi discovered a Digi-Egg when he was using his computer. Then he rushes over to Tai's house and then, Jinia, Augumon, Biyomon, Gabumon, Palmon, Tentomon, Patamon, Gomamon, and Gatomon contact Tai and Izzi to tell them that Augumon and Tentomon are going to go to the Internet to help Tai & Izzi destroy Diaboromon. And then Tai contacts Matt & T.K. and Matt & T.K.they send Gabumon & Patamon to the Internet too. Then when Gabumon & Augumon get together they Warp Digivolve into Metalgarurumon & Wargreymon. And then the amazing happens, Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon Digivolve into Omnimon and defeat Diaporamon.

The third section is 4 years after the 2nd segment. Kari & T.K. go to New York to visit Mimi, but while they are sight seeing they see a boy named Willis and his Digimon Terriermon fighting his other Digimon Cocomon. And later Davis, Demiveemon, Yolie, Poromon, Cody, and Upamon are in America thanks to Yolie's family. and they meet Willis and get a Pizza guy to help them go to Colorado. But Davis, Veemon, Willis, & Terriermon get left behind. So Veemon armor Digivolves into Raidramon and gets them caught up with Yolie and Cody. And soon after that Kari, Angewomon, T.K., and Angemon meet up with them. And all the kids become babies again and Angemon & Angewomon Warp Digivolve to their Mega levels and then Golden Digi-Eggs are released and Veemon & Terriermon Golden Armor Digivolve and Destroy the virus in Cocomon and Cocomon and then everything goes back to normal.

Review: We all had to suffer thru the bad TV shows, movies, merchandies, and video games of Pokemon-then something good finnally came along, from TOEI Animation(the same people who animated the popular TV series and Movies of Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z), it's DIGIMON! The show is better than Pokemon because...It has a plot and the main characters aren't just the Digimon. It takes place in the real world and a parallel world, the digital world. The movie is very good. The animation flows quite well, but the quality is a little less. But it's a good movie none the less, so watch it! Or in the name of the Moon I shall punish you!(No, I shall punish Pokemon for being boring!) Muhahahahaha!
