Summary: Woody's Past
Review: Woody, Buzz, Slinky and the rest of the Toy Story gang have returned in Toy Story 2. This time Woody gets kidnapped and meets characters from his past which he had forgotten about and now must come to grips and choose between the friends from his past and those he has now.

Buzz and some of the rest of the gang come to Woody's resue.

This is the best movie sequel that I have seen in a long time. The animation surpasses that of Toy Story and the story line is fantastic.

Summary: The best Disney Sequel ever
Review: Usually Disney Sequels stink up the place, no so with Toy Story 2. My kids liked it better than Toy Story, it's just great! Everything equals the quality in the first one, and even the story line is fresh which is hard to do in sequels. This is a must have!

Summary: Fun for any age
Review: The biggest compliment that can be paid to Toy Story 2 is that it is on a par with Toy Story 1. You see, Toy Story was not just a wonderful movie, it was a piece of cinematic history. The first time that computer animation had been used to film a full length picture. Toy Story 2 had to compete with the technical brilliance of its forefather and its immaculate storytelling. It succeeded.

In the sequel, Woody is stolen by a toy collector and it's up to Buzz and the rest of the cast to go get Woody back. Seems like a pretty basic plot but the writers flesh out their characters brilliantly. Woody experiences the trappings of fame when he finds out that he is the doll of a famous TV cowboy. Some of the more dramatic elements concern a female version of Woody who watched her owner grow up and grow tired of her. A heartfelt song borders on the sentimental but it somehow works. The comic elements come from the rescuers. A trip to a Shopping Mall is inspired, especially a meeting with Barbies. "I'm a married spud, I'm a married spud" says Mr Potato Head fearful of infidelity. But the most impressive comic moment is the resurrection of the fearless Buzz Lightyear. The reformed Buzz Lightyear is less funny than he was in the first movie so to counter this we are introduced to a newly opened Buzz. All the old trademarks are back - of course, he doesn't know he's a toy, but this Buzz is even more of an idiot. It's great.

Tim Allen and Tom Hanks voicework is very important to Toy Story's success. Hanks voice can portray so much emotion and Allen epitomises cockiness. The rest of the toys are well developed and wonderfully voiced. My favourite being Slinky voiced by Jim Varney.

John Lasseter deserves every award going for this series. It is a truly remarkable success story. Yet I hope there isn't any more as I can't see them topping the first two. Even the Godfather had a lousy third.

Summary: You've got a trend in me
Review: Toy Story 2 has that added ingredient for sequel success - Joan Cusack. Just as in Addam's Family Values, she brings her enthusiam to an established character, but allows the original actors to maintain their charm.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen reprise their original voice roles to brilliant effect. As long as I don't have to look at them, they're terrific. Toy Story 2 runs a little longer than the original, so it bumps along a couple of times, but the screenplay contains enough gags and "action" sequences to keep you from noticing. Sometimes, screenplay-by-committee works!

Watching the credits, you can realize what a corporate entity Pixar has become (look at all the lines for the Finance office!), it's amazing that they are able to make a movie that is both so disarming and full o' heart.

Summary: De lo mejor en animación...

Summary: A Great Story With Characters Everyone Will Love!
Review: I the first Toy Story. It was such a clever idea. Well, Woody the cowboy pull string doll has always felt like Buzz the space ranger is more special than him because he was newer. But when Woody is kidnaped by the owner of Al's Toy Barn, He discovers he is a valuable collectors item from a hit T.V. show from the 50's. The show was called "Woody's Roundup" and also featured his Cow girl pal Jessie, The Prospector Stinkey Pete, and his horse Bullseye. But Woody's about to be shiped to China to sit in a museum for the rest of his life. His friends back home have to save him before Andy, their owner, comes back from camp. It's a lot of fun and laughter for the whole family. Buy it today.

Summary: Buzz and Woody are back!
Review: Buzz Lightyear and Woody are back, along with a bunch of delightful new characters. One of which is Jessie the cowgirl, voiced by newcomer Joan Cusak. Disney and Pixar have done it again with their amazing graphics and stunning animation. The comedy and fun contained in this memorable film will bring excitement for the whole family. Say yeehah to all the returning characters as well as the new ones.

Opening with Rex trying to defeat Zurg on a video game, Woody is desperately trying to find his hat so he can go to Cowboy Camp with Andy. His hat is found but when Andy comes to get Woody, his arm rips and he is "shelved". While on the shelf, Woody sees Wheezy, a toy penguin who has long lost his squeaker. The two of them then notice a yard sale outside and Wheezy is put into a $.25 box. After Woody rescues Wheezy, he is stolen by Al, an obsessed toy collecter who is the head of the famous Al's Toybarn. Buzz, Rex, Slinky dog, Hamm, and Potato Head start out on a journey to find himbefore Andy comes home. While at the living quarters of Al, Woody meets his roundup gang, Jessie the cowgirl, Bullseye his faithful steed, and Stinky Pete, the prospector. They have been waiting for him for countless years so that they can go to a museum in Tokyo. Woody learns that if leaves, they'll go back into storage. He decides to stay until Buzz, Rex, Hamm, Potato, and Slinky dog come to his rescue. He refuses to leave, but changes his mind and asks Jessie and Bullseye to go with him. The prospector, however, turns on them and tries to force them to go to the museum. While at the airport redy to leave for Tokyo, the prospector is put in a Barbie bag and is gone forever. But when Jessie is trapped on the plain, it's up to Woody, Buzz, and Bullseye to save the day. Jessie is saved and she and Bullseye have a new home in Andy's room.

This is truly a remarkable video, with many surprises popping up in every direction. It should be watched over and over again.
