Rating: Summary: Antz: Simply fANTastic. Review: The movie was realy cool but you all know that. I thought that the entire DVD package of goodies was superb. All of those featurettes were excelent. There were a lot of interesting notes and video clips explaining the complex world of CG. As a teacher of Graphic Design, I found the information fascinating and insightful./ A must have DVD. Oh yea, my kids realy loved it as well. 90 minutes without any bickering.. more than worth the cost.
Rating: Summary: Half-Baked Insect Epic Review: I keep hearing how much better "Antz" is than "A Bug's Life," though you'd have a hard time proving it from the actual movie. For all its claims of raising deeper issues and sophisticated allegories, what's the big deal if it doesn't bother to explore any of those issues? All too often, the filmmakers touch on things and then move on, ultimately saying nothing. The message of individualism especially seemed compromised by the "everybody join together as one" finale. The celebrity voices were distracting, and the battle scene was a bit ridiculous. Plus, why is Z's name an abbreviation for Z-and a bunch of numbers, while every other character in the movie has an individual name. Why is he the only one with a generic one? Too many plot holes, and no, it's not for most kids. I'll take "A Bug's Life" any day. Next time Katzenberg decides to steal an idea, make sure he has a better way to do it.
Rating: Summary: This is the near teenage kid's dream! Review: WARNING:PARENTS WITH SMALL KIDS, UNDER 5, SHOULD NOT LET KIDS WATCH THIS::::} This movie is the near teenage kids dream. This movie seems aimed at kids of my age. You see, some people complain about this being a kids movie that has to much violence and swearing. This movie is aimed at kids that are near teenagers. Oh yeah, the swearing is appropeit, and the killing, well, thats how ants kill, and if reality is too much for you, go watch Barney.
Rating: Summary: language Review: Just about perfect: special effects, sound, history and messages. But not easy when you're french and your kids are always asking:"what did he say?". A french audio track should be fine.
Rating: Summary: Uninteresting. Review: Antz wasn't as good as I thought it would be. If you're looking for movies for kids, buy A Bugs Life. I think they could have lived with out using d*** and h*** so mutch.

Rating: Summary: WHERE THE HECK ARE THE ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: THIS IS THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS! THE CAST WAS TERIBLE THE ACTING WAS TERIBLE THE PLOT WAS SO STUPID AND HAD TONS OF UNDECENT STUFF NOT TO MENTION CUSSING AND IS VERY VIOLENT AND IS NOT FOR KIDS AT ALL! A BUGS LIFE IS WAY BETTER, LONG LIVE PIXAR AND DOWN WITH DREAM WORKS!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Not suitable for young viewers Review: I purchased this movie thinking it was a child's movie. Usually I preview a movie before allowing my child to view it. Having recently seen Bug's Life, however, I was lax about Antz and didn't check it out first. I was horrified the first time my 4 year old son said "Who the HELL is this?". . . a direct quote from the movie. He had nightmares about decapitation for weeks. This is NOT a child's movie. Very disappointing.
Rating: Summary: ONE OF THE BEST FILMS OF 1998 Review: ANTZ IS A GREAT MOVIE! I ADMIT IT'S TOO SCARY FOR KIDS BUT FUN FOR ADULT
Rating: Summary: Simply excellent Review: Excellent movie for both young and ol
