Summary: Loved this movie.
Review: My husband and I wanted to take our 2 year old son to his first movie, and this is the one we chose. We loved it and it kept his attention. We thought it was hilarious and we hope it's out on video by Christmas so we can buy it. Great story, great animation. The soundtrack is AWESOME! I've just ordered it. This movie is a MUST for this summer! I was very impressed.

Summary: The best laugh in a long time!
Review: Shrek was the greatest time I've had at the movies in years! Not in recent memory can I say that I've had tears running down my face at a movie because I was laughing so hard! Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy did an astounding job! The animation was ten times better than recent hits, including Pixar's latest works. This is a HIGHLY recommended movie! We're already on a waiting list for the DVD that has yet to be given a release date! Go see it! You won't regret it!

Summary: Funny! Funny! Funny!
Review: I don't even like animated movies and I just loved Shrek! It was a scream a minute. Pokes fun at Disney, lots of adult humor, but good for kids of all ages. Don't miss this film if you enjoy good comedy at the movies. Really terridic animation, and Eddie Murphy was perfect!! Can't remember when I've laughed so hard. Great Flick! Go see this one!

Summary: Must See!!
Review: This movie is great!! That's mostly all I can say. I really loved this movie. My grandparents brought me to this movie and they enjoyed it too. I'd have to say Eddie Murphy was the best! I could probably se this movie 9 more times and it would not get old. This movie is mainly for like 9+. It has 1 or 2 cuss words.

Thanks For Reading!

Summary: Two Words: Great Flick!
Review: What a great movie for kids and parents! As good as Toy Story, maybe better, with some more innuendo that only adults could enjoy. I will see this movie again and purchase on DVD. I laughed throughout the entire movie from beginning to end - the "balloon animals" were the funniest things I've seen in years!

Summary: Flirtatious Comedy Fairy Tale
Review: Shrek is a playful comedy is full of love, comedy, action, retrospection, and fairy tale creatures that actively flirts with the audience from the beginning to the end. The film tied me up with humor that was meant for young and old, lay and expert, men and women. Nevertheless, the humor was not the best characteristic of the film. No, the best characteristic of the film was the concerns of real life that were brought up with charm and seriousness, which was made easily digested with the humor. Some of these real life concerns was friendship, love, discrimination, intolerance, and greed. The only aspect that I did not like was the villain's short stature, which was used as a tool for slapstick humor. However, I am willing to let this one slide, since it reflects the ambiguity of each individual personality. In short, this is the best film I have seen this year, and it is far better than any other computer animated film that I have seen.

Summary: SHREK is a must see for all ages.
Review: I went on the opening weekend for SHREK and I just loved it. The animation is incredible. You keep having to remind yourself that the images are computer generated with the landscape shots being amazing. I applaud Dreamworks in every facet of this movie. All the voices are done incredibly well, with Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz doing an exceptional job! I just recommend this movie to anyone wanting a good 90 minutes of solid entertainment. Oh yeah, and my 4 year old daughter loved it too.

Summary: Much more than I expeced
Review: I remember seeing a trailer for Shrek some months ago, and I knew at that moment that I would have to see this movie. My expectations were blown away. The computer animation was simply beuatiful, and I cant remember the last time I laughed so much in a theatre, I loved even gags that are begining to wear thin, (such as knock offs of Matrix-esque battle sequences), truly a movie for all ages, no one will mind sitting through this PG movie. A definite must see.

Summary: WILL ATLANTIS BE ABLE TO TREAD WATER?
Review: SHREK ROCKS! I haven't laughed out loud so many times at an animated flick like I have this one. It works on all levels and then some! The irreverent jabs are perfect and the gags are non-stop. I've been an animation fan all my life and I dare say this film has become an instant classic the day of its release. The animation is shear beauty complete with dazzling backgrounds and textures. The supporting characters are all well, out of character, and the pace is quick just like the wit.

A great action/adventure/comedy sprinkled with a bit of romance, so there's something for everybody, and a ton of laughs for all!

I wish I knew someone at Dreamworks so that I could have my dvd copy right now. I'm gonna have to settle for some frog and snake balloons.
