Summary: An excellent DVD for those adults who love Fairytales.
Review: An excellent touch of nostalgia for the adult who loved fairytales as a child. Touched with the knowledge of a variety
of common fairytales from Snow White to Cinderella.
A great little onscreen romance between the lead character
and her supporting actor "The Wolf".
Definitely would love to see some kind of continuation
or sequal.

Summary: A masterpiece
Review: I won't recap all the other reviews. I just wanted to say this DVD is wonderful entertainment. This is one of those movies you want to see at least once a year as a family tradition. Like a Saturday in mid-winter with hot chocolate, freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies and the 10th Kingdom. Doesn't get any better!

Summary: The best film for the children and adults.
Review: Have you still believed in the fairy tales? Do you want to transfer in magic country where you can meet trolls, elves, magic mirrors and castles, evil Queen and Prince of mysterious country? Do you want to reveal mysteries of the ancient fairy-land?(Wolf is the grandson of Little Red Riding Hood?!). Then, welcome to "The Tenth Kingdom!" Everyone can find something special for himself in this film. The children can find a lot of magic, adventures and heroes from the oldest tales, adults - humor, romantic story (imagine, Wolf from the magic forest falls in love with charming girl from New York) and the Kissing Town ( it looks like Venice in spring). The rivers, trees, sounds, towns, people were magic and real at the same time! I have seen this film on my Birthday and it was the best present in my life. I am not a child , but I was it while I was watching this film. I was in childhood again. So I want to thank everybody who created this miracle, especially Scott Cohen, Kimberly Williams and Rutger Hauer for their works in this film. I recommended this film to all my friends. My brother is not fan of fantasy, but he watched "The Tenth Kingdom" with pleasure. Could it be the best recommendation for it?

Summary: Clever but slow
Review: The movie, though cleverly plotted, lacked percision when it came to makeup and setting. The characters of fairy tale legends looked more dolled up "trolls". It was also far to long, and no matter how great a movie may be, not many people can sit through something over two hours. The acting ranged from excellent to poor, with an exceptional prefromance from "the evil stepmother". But the slow pace makes even the most avid of movie go-ers feel confined and bored. It's a good movie for a Saturday night but not the best for rapid-preview.

Summary: Wonderful Entertainment for all agens
Review: This film is one of the best I have seen in years! My entire family, from my three year old daughter to my 50+ husband enjoy watching it again and again. The photography was great and the overall story is completely delightful. This is a film I want to always have available in my movie collection.

Summary: OK OK SO I GAVE IN
Review: I could hardly temp you any more than the other reviews to watch this movie, so i will just say that i absolutly loved it, and im not easily moved. To make a LONG story short, a girl (kimberly williams) and her father (john larroquette) get transported into the mythical land of the nine kingdoms. Along the way they meet Wolf (EXCELLENTLY played by Scott Cohen, i dont know w single girl who hasnt fallen for him after seeing this movie, and for the girl in the review who said he was an awful actor, WHO WERE YOU LOOKING AT?!?!) are chased by a band of trolls, an evil queen, and all turns around to a romantic love story. This is definetly not inappropriate in any way. many will object to the "love scene" in the third disk, but you dont see anything, there is VERY little profanity, though some might object to the premarital sex and pregnancy, i urge you to look closer than that at this beautiful story, filled with humor and action.
