Summary: Mandy Patinkin is at his comical best.
Review: Mandy Patinkin gives a superb comic performance. Showing us ,those who know his incredible talent, that he is as talented as a humorist as he is as a dramatic and musical performer. This movie has something for everyone from young to old a classic if there was ever one!!!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: <GASP> It actually does justice to the book.
Review: It's amazing. The actors they picked for the characters were abolutely perfect. When you read the book after seeing the movie, you can see the characters in your head--how you imagine them to be and how they looked onscreen are one and the same. The movie rocks.

Summary: Very captivating movie......................................
Review: I thought this movie was very captivating. The movie had a very nice plot, and it was fairly interesting, and they chose excellent characters.

Summary: Death cannot stop true love.
Review: This has got to be the best movie in the world of movies. I have owned this movie for at least five years and I never ever grow tired of watching it. "True love saved her in the fire swamps and she treated it like rubbish. And that's what she is. The queen of filth..." I know like the entire movie by heart, word for word! It's a great movie and everyone should see it at least once in their lifetime. I just love when Princess Buttercup says, "Wesley and I are joined by the bonds of love and you can not break that, not with a thousand swords, and you can not track that, not with a thousands hounds. So when I say you are a coward that is only because you are the weakest coward ever to crawl the face of this earth!", and then Prince Humperdink goes, "I would not say such things if I were you!" I love it, I love it, I love it!

Summary: What is the big deal?
Review: The book is so much better than this crummy movie, which is ruined by having Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shawn, and Billy Crystal working very very very hard to be very very cute.

Silly, sentimental, and never as clever as it thinks it is. This is a movie for people who are seriously, deeply, truly moved by telephone commercials.

Summary: Fantastic ecept not wide screen.
Review: The Princes Bride is an out standing comedy that satiers not only story books but also old swash buckling movies. However there is one problem with this vidio... IT'S NOT WIDESCREEN! AAAGG! What a CRIME to commit on any clasic movie.

Summary: What a Joy
Review: I have seen this movie several times and each time I found a new element to be enjoyable. Truley a masterpiece with a wonderful scrip, great acting (Including Billy Crystal's lovely appearence as the magician), and an exciting tale. Don't miss this classic!

Summary: An incredible movie that proves family fare can be fun.
Review: This film has it all. From romance to action, from comedy to the touching familial love a grandfather and grandson share. This is what a movie should do; provide escape from reality. If you find this movie to be anything but magnificent you should immediately begin searching for a heart. Buy this film, you will not regret it.

Summary: MY FAVORITE MOVIE!!
Review: I had it taped on a video cassette ever since I remember myself, and I probably watched it like a million times as I was growing up... I still watch it today, and love every second of it. Oh, and did I mention Cary Elwes?... I really love him because of this movie - but I don't love the movie just because of him. After all, don't forget I was watching it ever since my childhood, and back then who cared about boys? ;-)

Well, all I've got to say to end this, is: if you are in this page and never saw this movie, be ashamed of yourself - it's a classic one! And if you don't own it yet... buy it. Now. That's all folks! :-)

Summary: The most wonderful movie I have ever watched.
Review: This movie is perfect as are the characters. The actors that protray Westley and Buttercup could not have been better suited for there roles. It has something for everyone, adventure, laughter, and above all true love. I recommend this movie for all ages. Quote "Get used to dissapointment" - something you won't have to do if you watch this movie!
