Summary: A GREAT MOVIE; AND THAT'S NO FIB!
Review: This is my five year old daughter's FAVORITE Veggie-Tales video! It's wacky, it's funny, it has a really catchy music video at the end, but best of all, it has LARRY-BOY! If there's one thing preschoolers can relate to it's a SUPER-HERO - and this one is truly unique, with his cucumber body and super-suction (plunger) ears! In this story, Junior Asparagus is taught an important lesson about the dangers of lying; namely, a seemingly innocent LITTLE fib can quickly grow into a BIG, MEAN, NASTY MONSTER of a fib, (that sprouts legs and arms and destroys everything in it's path)! This video might be a bit scary for youngsters under the age of four, but for older preschoolers,(and their parents), it's sure to be a hit! A "Must Have" for every Veggie-tales collection!

Summary: A really good story with good moral!
Review: This movie happens in Brumblyburg when a little alien from outer space lands. Meanwhile, Junior Asparagus, his friend Laura Carrot, and his toy bear are playing tea party but there is not enough plates for the bear. Junior Asparagus tries to get his father's precious bowling plate, and ends up breaking it into pieces. When Junior is left alone, the alien goes to Junior, saying that his name is "Fib." Fib tells him to tell a little fib, but at first Junior refuses, saying that it's a lie. Fib says that a fib and a lie is different so Junior tells his father that Laura broke it. When Junior turns around to see Fib again, Fib had turned a little larger than before!
They take a walk and Junior meets a friend who says that Laura was in BIG trouble and Laura says that Junior broke it. Junior says that Laura was telling the truth that she didn't break it, however Junior next put the blame on Lenny, Laura's little brother. When Junior sees Fib again, Fib had turned much larger and even had feet! Fib says that he has always been like this, so Junior keeps walking...
Soon Laura, Lenny, and Junior's friend march up angrily to Junior, saying that he lied. Junior is about to say that a monster made him lie. They all think that he is telling another lie but when they hear the booming voice of the now-turned-giant-monster, they believe and run away. Junior is captured by the alien and Brumblyburg's famous hero, Larry-Boy, comes to the rescue.
Larry-Boy is as well captured by the alien, and there is only one person who could conquer the alien. Who? Sorry-can't tell you because you'll have to watch it! This story has a good moral-tell the truth always because the truth will get you free while telling lies will bring trouble. I enjoyed this movie and I think you will enjoy it too.

Summary: Great for kids, fabulous for adults
Review: This one, of the whole Veggie Tales series, is my personal favorite. There's a lot here to love. First, it teaches youngsters a valuable lesson about telling the truth both in its wholesome story and in the larger metaphor that first you control the lie but in time the lie controls you. Second, it's amazingly clever in its dialogue and concept and design, from the Larrymobile with its suction cup wheels to the way Larry-Boy, always the consummate nerd, screams "I--AM--THAT--HERO! " But best of all, adults can watch this video and be entertained as well as the kids, as the creators gleefully spoof Batman and superheros in general, bad sci-fi monster flicks, the Franklin Mint, pop culture and, in the final segment, music videos. All the Veggie Tales series are very funny, but this one makes you laugh so hard you'll have to rewind it in spots to re-watch the stuff you missed while recovering from cracking up. This deserves to be a classic. If the gang from Big Idea had never made another video, we could remain forever grateful for this one. Of course, then we never could have heard "The Hairbrush Song"...

Summary: OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!
Review: This video has it all- without violence, profanity or sickening-sweet prehistoric creatures! Our 4yr old watches the computer animated tale over and over. The message of being truthful no matter how difficult is creatively brought to life in the Veggie Tales videos. From the dynamic computer generated animation to the silly song and puns and charming characters, this video and others in the series are just outstanding fun for Kids and adults!!!

Summary: How did this little fib turn into a huge lie?
Review: This video was really good. It was the second of the Veggie Tale movies that I saw. This movei teaches kids how it is not good to lie or even fib because a little fib can turn into a big lie!

Summary: The BEST children's videos out there...
Review: To put it simply, the animation is great, the story is solid, and the best part of all is that its message, so clearly and softly spoken by vegetables, is positive. Some how, Big Idea Productions has made a religious cartoon that skips the usual mushy/pushy feel so often associated with videos in this genre and created characters and stories which are truly fun to watch, even for us older "kids".

Oh, and the Batman and other pop culture references make it hilarious. Larry-Boy rules.

Summary: I Love Larry-Boy
Review: Wonderful. Exquisite. Superb. My children liked it too.

Our little veggie friends have given me the courage to say that I ... AM ... THAT ... HERO!

Summary: SUPERB Video Series!!!
Review: Yes, I am another one of those 14 year olds who are addicted to Veggie Tales along with my group of friends at school. I have seen about every single one of them and hope that Big Idea Productions will make a movie as they have been hinting. I can't help myself singing the Silly Songs with Larry (this certain episode does not have one, but the Larry-Boy theme song makes up for it), I'll be humming or singing it wherever I go. If you want good, wholesome, moral, Christian values, played by a bunch of fruits, vegetables, animals, and even a toy, you must get these videos. I'd recommend them to people from the age of 1 to 102.
