Summary: the movie is good for all ages and all types
Review: "Ever After" was one of the best movies i've ever seen.It has everything needed to make a classic film;action, adventure, romance, and a little kick of feminism. Douglas Scott Dougrey did an amazing job as an unhappy prince finding love. Drew Barrymore did a fantastic job as a lonely but strong dreamer. I would recommend this movie to anyone breathing! And that is why i gave it 5 stars AnnaMarie Oakes

Summary: A winner
Review: Awonderful movie. Its a modern interpretation of cinderella and a very good role model for young girls. I was pleasantly surprise that she was quite resourceful and totally different from the traditional Cinderella. Instead of the victim she was very independent and resourceful. A good movie for young girls to see. I loved Drew Barrimores interpretation.

Summary: A great twist on an old favorite.
Review: This is a great retelling of the the old Disney fairy tale...Drew Barrymore is outstanding (I usually don't like her work), and plays a smart, strong heroine with grace and humor. Everyone from my 65+ mom, through my seventeen year old daughter down to my wee ones enjoyed this movie very much.

Summary: Romantic, smart, and enveloping. A great fary tale!
Review: God knows I love Drew Barrymore. Ever since The Wedding Singer, I've been entranced. She does indeed seem to be living up to her Butterfly metaphor. "ugly and awkward" to start...though she was never ugly, she was hardly an angel. But recently, she has evolved into a truely great actress, person, and I had to admit my heart took an extra beat when I saw her in her wings in this movie. The lovely Angel Barrymore.

Ahem...but the rest of the movie was also great. Hehe. DaVinchi's protrail was excellent and humerous, and the entire movie had an air of entertainment and fun mixed with a plot and dialouge that an older audience will love. Romantics from every generation will smile, and cheer. A very intellegent, fufilling movie. Rated on the Internet Movie Database as a TOP 10 MOVIE of 1998. It deserves it's high status, too. Check it out!

Summary: Simply CHARMING!
Review: I saw "Ever After" three times -- once at a theater with my pre-teen daughter, and twice on airline flights. Although I have never been a fan of Drew Barrymore, I thought her performance in this film was enchanting. I also loved the vulnerable qualities Dougray Scott brought to the Prince. It was even difficult to dislike Angelica Huston all the time as the stepmother! I never quite agreed with the PG-13 rating at the boxoffice, because I had taken my three young children to see "Antz" (Rated PG) the week before, and found that film to be MUCH more offensive in terms of language, violence, and adult situations. I am happy to know that the few profane words in "Ever After" will be deleted in the video release. Other than animated films for my children, I haven't purchased a video in years. I've always been happy to just rent. But "Ever After" is one I will definitely buy. I always felt so GOOD at the end ... that's a feeling the hopeless romantic in me wants to enjoy over and over again!

Summary: Absolutely fantastic!!! I have seen it 7 times at the cinema
Review: This is my most favourite movie ever!!! Drew Barrymore was great in it, and Dougray Scott is the sexiest prince I have ever seen!!! I have seen it 7 times at the theatre and I am eagerly awaiting it's release on video, and have already pre-booked a copy, so that I don't break my bank account going to see it over again!! I have also bought the soundtrack and book which are both brilliant!!

Summary: I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!
Review: For ONCE someone has portrayed Cinderella without making her a total ditz! Drew Barrymore was fantastic in her portrayal of Danielle! Where most people make Cinderella desirable solely based on her looks, the character of Danielle is intelligent! I will stop now, because it would take more than the 1,000 word limit to say everything!!! I LOVED this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Better than Titanic
Review: First of all, I've NEVER liked Drew Barrymore as an actress an have tried to stay away from this film because of that. I finally went to see Ever After after a month of my better half begging me. Let me say that it's been a long time since I enjoyed a movie this much. I was saddened when the movie was over, not becuase of the ending or anything to do with the plot, but simply because it was over. This is definitely one to add to your collection.

Summary: Even Big Kids like it!
Review: I saw this movie on a flight from Amsterdam to Newark. It was great! Even the Marine Corps sergeant sitting next to me and the frat boys returning from Amsterdam behind me enjoyed it. A movie for all ages! One of the best I've seen in years.
