Summary: Fantastic and mesmerizing and I loved Megan Dodds and Drew
Review: This movie was truly magical and the costumes were so elegant and gorgeous they kept you wanting to see more. I really thought Drew Barrymore did a great acting job and Angelica Houston has always been one of my favorite actresses. I also loved Megan Dodds who was the beautiful blonde stepsister and played her part exceptionally well. GO GO GO SEE IT OR BUY IT NOW.

Review: If you've come across this film because you're a Drew Barrymore fan and want to see all of her work, you will NOT be disappointed. "Ever After" is the sleeper film of 1998 -- I saw it four times in the theatre and am getting the video ASAP. Clever, beautifully filmed, touching, poignant, bittersweet, suitable for all family members and especially for parents who'd like a good role model for their little girls. Wonderful casting all around -- you'll shriek with laughter at some of the scenes between our heroine and her evil sister and stepmom (the other sister is not quite so dastardly -- watch and you'll see!). Let's all buy a copy of this one and make it the best-selling video of 1999. Let's show the film industry that this is the kind of film of which we'd like to see more!

Summary: An example of real feminism
Review: This movie has been touted as a feministic Cinderella, but I found it to be in no means fitted for that term. Cinderella was diligent, caring, loving and faithful, not running away from the fight but sticking it out and showing true, beautiful but almost reticent bravery. When she did lash out, it was almost a righteous anger - she knew what needed to be done and did it.This challenged me, as a young woman, to concern myself with the fashioning of my character and attitude, rather that my outward shell or reputation. The directing was marvelous. The art design was thoughtful and clever. The humor refreshing, and Da Vinci was absolutely charming! This is my all-time favorite movie. I've seen it 7 times, and to date, it's not on video!

Review: I took my boyfriend to see this movie at much protest. He didn't have any desire to see it cause he thought it would be romantic, sappy and not have enough to keep him interested. He was pleasantly suprised. We saw it twice in the theatre together and he even went to see it again. He has even already ordered the video, and he is normally an all action flick kinda guy. It's a movie that anyone can enjoy because the story is so tried and true and it was so beautiful portrayed in this version. Its a must see!

Review: This movie is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It is believable, Suspenseful, Comedy, and drama all rolled into one. It is real it doesn't have the fairy godmother so it gives us another older version of the age old story of Cinderella.
