Rating: Summary: A love story with heart. Review: I loved it so much. The performances were exceptional, and thedialogue wasn't insulting to the intelligence. The storyline wasgreat with just the right amount of comedy in it. All in all a great movie.
Rating: Summary: Romance film for all ages! A "must see" Review: I loved it! The actors were excellent in portraying their characters. Drew Barrymore was brilliant and Anjelica Huston was an excellent step-mother. Like one of the other people that reviewed this film, I nerver heard of Dougray Scott before this film, bellissimo. On the TV commercial, it "says" that it is PG-13 but shows on the video box that it is PG. I definately rate it PG. I cannot wait to own it.
Rating: Summary: It was a very lovly movie Review: This was a very thouching movie I would tell every woman to watch. But I don't think man will like it, at least my boyfriend didn't.

Rating: Summary: A wonderful, wonderful movie!!!! Review: I absolutely adored this movie and am so sorry that I did not go to the theater to see it when it came out! The story was wonderful - I loved the touches of humor mixed in with the romance. I hadn't seen Drew Barrymore in any movie since ET but she was just superb as Danielle, as was Dougray Scott as Prince Henry. I believe my favorite part has to be the meeting between the Prince and Danielle in the ruins where she tries to tell him the truth about who she is - such a beautiful romantic scene! Her dress, his black coat, the sunlight filtering down on them, it was just lovely!I also loved the part where the gypsy tells Danielle she can take anything she can carry - truly inspired humor! How DID she pick him up?!
Rating: Summary: An absolutely funny and charming movie, Drew rocked!! Review: Drew Barrymore plays an incredable role as Danielle a princecess in despare looking for hope which she discovers from the prince of France until Her evil step mother and sisters step into the picture! Will Danielle survive and marrie the man she loves? A must see!!
Rating: Summary: A Refreshing Movie Review: The old story of Cinderella done in a very creative way. A wonderfully romantic movie with several humerous moments. Drew Barrymore and Dougray Scott are terrific, and Angelica Houston made a great Stepmother. A film that captured the heart and imagination without violence and foul language. The costumes of the time were beautiful. I loved it so much I went out and bought it.
Rating: Summary: The Next "Princess Bride" Surfaces As "A Cinderella Story" Review: "Ever After" is a refreshing tale which asserts that purity and goodness are not lost forever to (and in) the world. Its hopeful message is revealed primarily through the actions of its protagonist, Danielle. Danielle, mistakenly named Cinderella by the Brother's Grimm, who make momentary appearances at both ends of the movie, begins the story as a baron's daughter who is reduced to the role of a mere houseservant. The story then progresses through the oft-mentioned dark deeds of Danielle's stepfamily, and, refreshingly shows Danielle possessing many traits which I am relatively sure no previous Cinderellas have ever been known to possess, including compassion, self-sacrifice, meekness, and intelligence, all combined with an invigorating sense of adventure which Drew Barrymore manages to share with all observers, regardless of age, sex, and initial interest in the film. This film is one of the best I've seen in a long time, and is a true jewel of this decade's moviemaking efforts. One of it's charms is that it is appealing and entertaining to all ages of people, and while it may fall a tad shy of "The Princess Bride"'s ability to keep even boisterous boys entertained, it certainly does try. I give it 4 1/2 stars, because I must reserve the 5 star rating for films such as "Jacob Have I Loved," "The Princess Bride," and "Anne Of Green Gables," which are my top choices in the fun family entertainment category.
Rating: Summary: Best Movie I've seen in '98 Review: This movie was well writen and well casted. The music was fantantic too. I think this movie is a great family movie.
Rating: Summary: It was a heart warming retell of a classic story. Review: I have never been inclined to write a reveiw like I am after watching this great classic.. It was a heart touching story in which Drew Barrymore wins your heart. I would reccomend it to anyone!!!
