Summary: a wonderfully realistic "Cinderella" story of the millenium!
Review: "Ever After" crosses over from the usual paradigm of a sob story we usually encounter in the Cinderella tale. It breaks all impressions of who and what Cinderella is. Drew Barrymore delivers a wonderful performance as "Danielle". No other actress can seem to show the wit and talent that Barrymore has exhibited in this film. Not to be outstarred is "stern" Anjelica Houston who adds class to the evil character as "Stepmother". Dougray Scott fits "Prince Henry" to a T. "Ever After" is taking the character of the woman of the new millenium to fit into the medieval setting.

Summary: A true romance from the heart. A beautiful movie.
Review: In this movie you feel like you're apart of it. You go through everything Danelle goes through. It is a beautiful life story for everyone to enjoy and want in their life. I recommend this movie if you love Drew and romances. Ladies' you may have to beg your man to see this movie.

Summary: Great acting detailing an old story
Review: My wife and daughter had first seen this movie and raved about it. I bought it as a present for my wife and watched it for the first time last night. Thinking I was going to see a "chick flick" I must admit I was very pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed it! I'm not a Drew Barrymore fan but she exhibited great acting talent. Angelica Houston did a marvelous job as the villian stepmother. The movie brings to life a well worn story of Cinderella but with a "Titanic" storytelling approach. I liked it and am glad we bought the DVD so we can see it again. Cinematography is wonderful. It's safe for kids too!

Summary: Why did I like this movie?
Review: I would have to say that I truly did like this movie. But why?, I'm a guy. All I know is that I started watching it with my sisters so I could make fun of it. But I couldn't think of anything to make fun of so I really got into it. Oh and another thing I'm not gay. Watch this movie with your mom or sisters or girlfriend(s) its not that bad.

Summary: Barrymore and Houston are Spectacular
Review: Drew Barrymore(Danielle DeBarbraq) and Anjelica Houston (le Baroness de le House de Ghynt)display a wonderful performance. It is a wonderful story line, and it is delightful. This movie is the world, and it can be rather funny. I like how it is based around royalty, and the royal court. With Barrymore and Houston together, you can never go wrong.

Summary: Soppy, silly but Good Acting.
Review: Danielle (Drew Barrymore : The Wedding Singer, Never Been Kissed) is playing sweet and innocent Cinderella who is also very strong. When the love of her life played by Dougray Scott has coem for a few weeks to stay at her evil step mothers (Angelica Huston : The Addams Family, The Addams Family Values) castle things turn from romance to disaster.

This movie would probably be preffered by the people who are "romancy" but this soppy stuff is not by sort of thing.

Summary: One of the best movies I've seen!!!!!
Review: Ever After has quickely become my favorite movie. It is sweet, well-written, and Drew Barrymore stars in it! One of the things I really like about this movie is how the prince and Danielle really get to know each other while they fall in love, unlike in the fairy tale where the prince doesn't even know Cinderella's name. This movie wasn't tainted by gore or foul language, and was truly refreshing!

Summary: Dougray Scott & Drew Barrymore are a perfect on-screen match
Review: This movie has all of the characteristics of a good movie. Humor, suspense, drama, romance, and painful choices that set good morals. Drew Barrymore turned in an exquisite performance, as always, and Douglas Scott made a perfect choice for Prince Henry. Together these two had that on-screen passion that few actors can aspire to. Their characters contrasted each other perfectly. The plot was well thought. They turned a classic fairy tale for children, into a beautifully enticing, suspenseful, and quite original fantasy for children, and adults as well. The soundtrack fit the movie so perfectly, creating an even stronger suspense quality. When you watch this movie, it becomes you; you can feel the sorrow, and the emotion. Ever After is a movie that makes you think about life, and all the opportunities. It has a quality of hope that sticks in your mind. I recommend this movie for everyone and anyone who has ever been in love!

Summary: Excellent
Review: I found this movie to be a wonderful, and exciting movie. Drew was great in it. This movie is every womans dream, a fairy tale come true. A wonderful prince to love her for the rest of her life. After I first saw this movie I went out and bought it right away.

Summary: Very, very, very satisfying......
Review: This movie has been the most satisfying movies that I have seen in a long time. And before someone protests, I am referring to the romantic genre. It is a fantastic remake of a classic fairy story, with a dash of chutzpah in the lead heroine to bring it into the twenty-first century. Great job people!!
