Summary: GREAT movie alert!!!!!!!
Review: Look at it this way, if there was a rating of 10, it still wouldn't be enough! Beautiful cast, story, costumes, . . . what more could you want?!!!! I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! SEE IT!!!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: happy ending
Review: This movie was excellent! Drew Barrymore has shown some improvement in her acting. The cinematography is good too.

Summary: Just wonderful!
Review: If I could give more than five stars, I would! It was a wonderful movie! Not nearly as "mushy" as my husband thought it would be. Instead of the man coming to the rescue of the woman, Cinderella takes care of herself! Also, did anyone realize that Melanie Lynskey, who played the part of Jacqueline De Ghent, first appeared in a movie called "Heavenly Creatures"? She co-stared with Kate Winslet and they were first introduced to the public in that movie!!

Summary: Absolute must see movie for anyone of any age.
Review: This movie is a must see for anyone. My 7 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son adore it. It has an absolutely wonderful cast and terrific role model in Danielle. We love the fact that she has such conviction and is not afraid to take charge and not let life bring her down. Drew Barrymore is a natural in the part. And the Prince is wonderful to watch soften and become more open minded as he falls in love.... It is also very interesting to watch the Prince and his Mother, the Queen share some tender moments together...all in all the cast is perfect! We have watched the movie numerous times and never grow tired of it!

Summary: Sweet, Wholesome, Breathtaking
Review: Look at the numerous reviews before mine and you'd hardly see a rating lower than 5! Everyone just loves it and that shows how wholesome the movie is. I wasn't able to see it in the movies but as soon as I rented one, I just had to have a copy. I got one from Amazon.com. The movie, put simply is spectacular. Its peppered with everything; romance, suspense, humor... And unlike other chick flicks, this does not turn into mush. The best aspect, however, is the portrayal of a strong-willed, yet feminine "Cinderella". Watch a gal rescue her man for a change! And see how the prince falls for Danielle's passionate ideals - not looks!

I haven't grown tired of it yet (having watched it at least 10 times and practically memorizing the script!) I am currently scouring the internet for more info about the making.

Hats off to the actors (especially to Ms. Barrymore, Ms. Huston, and Ms. Dodds) to the wonderful production, and to the talented man behind the music, George Fenton.) I love the creation your talents have made ... we ought to make more of these feel-good, sweet, wholesome movies. I'll be waiting for future projects like these!

Summary: BEAUTIFUL!
Review: I have seen this movie several times. Drew Barrymore played the part of Danielle very well, and Dougary Scott was great as Prince Henry. It's a beautiful fairytale I have really enjoyed watching over and over again alone and with my 7 year old daughter. I wish there were only more movies out there like this one, funny, sweet, sad, and with a happy ending. The only thing was, I would have really loved to see Danielle and Prince Henry wed. I hope to see more movies like this come out soon.

Summary: a wonderfully sweet romance for everyone
Review: i just loved this movie! i have seen it at least 7 times already! it's romantic and fun with rich characters and a heroine you root for! drew barrymore plays "danielle" the poor servant girl who steals the heart of the prince. as "prince henry", dougray scott is utterly (forgive me) charming! keep your eyes on him in the future, i believe he is the next major international star. angelica huston is wickedly wonderful as the "evil stepmother". this movie is warm, funny and romantic without being to sappy. i'd say more but i'm going to go watch "ever after" now. buy it, rent it, but dont miss it!

Summary: Magnificent
Review: Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end - a masterful and beautifully captured story which will be a favourite for years. I hadn't seen the film when I purchased the DVD, but many of my friends reccommended it, and as soon as the menu appeared on my screen, I knew I would love it. The disc is otherwise fairly bare-bones in terms of features, although the sound and picture quality is perfect, as is the film itself.

Summary: Best Movie EVER made!!!
Review: I love Drew Barrymore, and I love all her movies, but 'Ever After' was the best. The acting was great, and costumes were beautiful, and the story was wonderful! Anyone how hasn't seen 'Ever After' HAS to.

Summary: Great!
Review: Being a guy, I actually liked the movie, it had a great storyline and actually followed well along the lines of the cinderella story... The only thing that truly pissed me off was the VERY end where the narrator said "and gentlemen, they lived." That totally pissed me off, like we were expecting them to die or something. Other than that the movie was great.
