Summary: Who Shot this Movie?
Review: I loved Passport to Paris. This movie however, looks like it was shot with home video. It was jerky, and very MTVish. The storyline was hard to follow because of all the lousy video-taping. It was so bad, that some of the lines are very muffled. If you are a die-hard Mary Kate and Ashley fan, then I guess you should by this. If you are trying to find a movie suitable for your DVD, look elsewhere. (personal opinion follows) I don't like how the girls kept disobeying their parents. "A Curfew is a curfew" no matter what. When the girls break their curfew, they don't get hardly any punishment from their parents, and it is basically laughed off. This is every young kids fantasy, but going alone around an island at 15 is really not right. I think these girls just need to go into the mainstream now. They are too old to be setting examples for the little ones. Why don't they try to get a "real" acting part. I guess when your making a gazillion dollars just slapping your name on anything, why should you worry about the quality of your acting, or the content of your product.

Summary: Oke... but
Review: This movie is oke, i would give it two stars, but there are dolphins in the video.. and because i LOVE dolphins i give it a extra star.. .. The first star i gave is just because MKA are in it, and i think everything with MKA in it is great, because MKA are great, the second star is for the last 10 minutes of the movie... that's the only good part (next 2 the dolphins part!) because only the last 10 minutes have a plot, well kinda... The rest of the movie is fillt with music,dancing,boys,clothes en just watching MKA have fun.. i love it anyway because MKA are in it LOL.. The movie is kinda boring, but the music is great!! I think they have 2 call this movie "kissing boys in the sun" and not "Holiday in the sun", or they can call it "Watching MKA having fun in the sun" something like that, this movie is nice 2 watch at a party, but if you want a movie with a plot... then don't watch this one!!

Review: I believe that this movie is just 100% Mary-Kate and Ashley! I think they need more stars. Also, cant Mary-Kate and Ashley be the bad girls? The movie shows them getting whatever they want! Basically, they are spoiled. I must admit that this a great film and I would have rated it five stars if it weren't for it to be the twins! In real life you would get in trouble and in real life you dont always get what you want!! I still think the twins are fabulous and I am not bad mouthing them. This movie is an excellent movie and it could be a little less of the twins and more of other people!

Review: i hope this review will save another parent money. when i bought this there were mixed reviews.this was a christmas present for my daughter.she invited some friends over for a viewing party, (devoted olsen twin fans) all got up and left the room to do something else,i asked if they were coming back to finish watching the movie and they said "no,it's boring"..so i watched and not only is it boring and dull, it's horribly scripted and acted.it belongs on the infomercial channel as it's,in essence, an ad for the hotel.shame on the olsens,they don't need the money, so why rip off the public?

Summary: This Was Like a Visual Field Trip w/ MKA, Not a Movie.
Review: Okay, for the strong points, the hotel where they shot it in was really cool. They looked really good and grown-up in their outfits. Their taste in teenage guys improved.I also enjoyed those little arguments between them like:"You Can't Have Your Cake and Eat it Too." thing.It was also funny when Griffen tried to help Scott w/ Madison. But what about the"stolen-antiques-by-a-white-haired-guy" thingy, was that really a plot ? You somehow understand this toward the end of this so called movie.What about those really CARELESS parents? They already went swimming after midnight and they still got to go out ALONE?They bailed them out of JAIL and they still let their eyes wander away? What about the "Brianna Wallace, let the games begin." Alex said with a glare? She pretty much didn't do ANYTHING about it. She just stole Jordan by saying that there was a PI in the pool. That was it! Next subject:KISSING.Ever since Passport to Paris,except Our Lips are Sealed, they kissed a guy.Is it like something they think will make a movie COOLER? I think not.Also, I got pretty dizzy with the camera angeles, not to mention the "colored becoming black & white"scenes.What about the mom's attitude toward shopping? It was like they went to the Bahamas not to enjoy the hotel and activities but to go shopping! This is definetely NOT the twins' best movie. They should stop making visual field trips and go back to QUALITY movies;even if they are not in fancy places. What happened to good ol' LA and New York? Fine, Passport to Paris was cute but from there do they really have to travel for every movie after that just because they are practically millionares? I don't think so. They better make up for this one.

Summary: Dumb! Dumb! Dumb!
Review: Have I already said this movie was dumb? Because it is! I have seen all of the Olsen twin's movies and this is by far the worse. The movies is pretty short but it feels like hours!
It takes place in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Hotel. While the scenery is beautiful the acting is not. Mary-kate and Ashley spend the whole time flirting and giggling (with boys twice their age). The plot of they movie makes no sense at all and only comes ito play at the very end. I suggest that anyone who wants to see this movie waits till it becomes a .99 rental (if even that).

Review: Ok I am a 17 year old senior and I absolutely loved Holiday in the sun... My little sisters and I love mary-kate and ashley...
I thought the movie was really sweet...And it was by far my favorite movie they have made, so far...Ben Easter and Austin Nichols threw out an awesome performance too... I couldn't have found a better cast for the movie. The girls were great, the guys were great, and the movie was great.

Summary: Kind of cute...
Review: I really thought that this movie was cute. I mean, of course it was very unrealistic at times (eg. the school trip to Hawaii, the private jet, their own suite, etc.) but I thought it was overall cute, which is probably what it was intended to be. Although it seemed to be one big Atlantis ad, I really thought that added to what I liked about it. When I watched it, I was on winter break and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and it made me look forward to summer. The soundtrack was pretty good too, except it's a little too much "girl-power" kind of songs. And personally, I thought it was kind of inspiring because it kind of makes you want to be able to wear their cute outfits and bathing suits. I think the thing I didn't like the most was how the "hottest guy in the place" as Brianna said was Jordan. And personally, I thought he was like the ugliest guy and I loved how when they did a close-up on him, his pimples like shined in the light haha.
Well, I really thought it was cute if you want to sit back and feel happy. I watched it again when I was studying for mid-terms and it kind of made me happy and put me in a better mood.
