Summary: One of the best family movies ever
Review: This DVD is fantastic, it contains a widescreen presentation of a movie that kids love and parents will not get sick and tired of. This is an adventure/coming of age story of a dog and a cat, with nary a human being in sight. All kinds of animals make appearances and contribute to the plot! Narrated by Dudley Moore, who died recently (last year?) with some of the best cinematography EVER - amazing nature footage that will always captivate little ones attention. Highly, highly recommended.

Summary: What Mother Can't Love Those Faces!
Review: Milo and Otis is an absolutely adorable movie! I own a pug and let me tell you that Otis's mannerisms and the way he behaves is very true to the breed. Otis is very ornery and gets into so many things, just like pugs really do. I felt so bad and wanted to cry when he got stuck out in the snow towards the end of the movie. I am very glad that he made a friend in Milo and their travels together will warm the coldest of hearts. The end is a perfect end to their travels and now there is not just two of them anymore!

Summary: A hard truth to swallow...
Review: I remember watching this movie growing up and really loving how much adventure and action there was. It really showed how two animals can really like eachother (even cats and dogs). My Dad and I recently saw it again and I have to say I was utterly shocked at how HORRIBLY they treated the animals on there! If you ever see this movie again just step back from the plot and watch each scene as if it where a seperate thing in itself:

Animals getting forced to go into rivers, the cat going down waterfalls in a small wooden box, the dog almost getting drowned and mauled by a bear...that's all I care to write about since we had to turn it off after being so shocked. I urge people not to buy this movie and for the people who already have it please watch it again and rethink how you feel about it because I know I will never feel the same about it again. And parents, please think about what you're showing your kids.

I do believe though that it is a very wonderful plot and story! If this could be made into a cartoon (without all the animals getting abused and hurt) I think it would be such a great thing. But I URGE people to NOT buy this movie!

Summary: Enjoyable For All Ages
Review: I bought The Adventures of Milo and Otis many years ago for entertainment on a chartered bus trip of former business associates and their families. I chose the movie for its low risk value in terms of offensive content. I fell in love with the movie. Dudley Moore provides a splendid narration for all the characters. The animals are adorable.

Many years later, I have introduced the movie to my two year old son who calls it his "Dog and Cat Movie". He chuckles warmly throughout the movie. It has become one of his favorites.

Summary: The best animal movie
Review: I love this movie! It is one of the cutest movies I have ever seen. Isn't it great that a dog and a cat get along? I wish my cat and dog would get along like that. I would reccomend it for anyone.

Summary: Great
Review: I hadn't seen this movie in probably over ten years, and even when I saw it in tv today it still brought me to tears, a compelling story and breathtaking music wrap it all together.

Summary: Excellent for all ages
Review: My toddler is 2 and has watched this movie 5 times in 3 days. She absolutely loves it! It is hard to get her to stay in one place for very long but she watches the movie (generally) from start to finish. Though geared towards children this movie easily entertains the adults who usually have to watch the kids movies too. Dudley Moore's narration is hysterical!

Summary: enjoyment for generations
Review: This is a movie that I used to watch over and over when i was younger and now my 3 children love to watch it over and over. I sometimes catch myself laughing along with them. the narraration in this movie is wonderful and cute and a good movie for all ages. parents should take notice that it does show a dog giving birth. I personally dont mind my kids watching it but i dont know if all parents do. it isnt gross or anything i just thought you should know

Summary: such an amazing drinking movie
Review: hi,
i am a college student who just watched this film for the first time in about 10 years. i didn't remeber much of it but i had a friend who isisted that we watch it while we were drinking. she popped in the movie and i was blown away, cheesy plot, the very funny narration by everyone's favorite drunken aristocrat arthur (well dudley moore whatever). i loved when the frog was saying otis over and over. and the song the fox sang is priceless. oh yeah that reminds me the theme song is so awsome. granted there is some animal violence and such and i am normally not a fan of that, but seriously it is kinda funny to watch a cat go over a waterfall (i laughed despite my friends cat sitting next to me). honestly though, this is a very sweet movie that i highly recommend for any person who wants to have a good time while watching a movie (espically when drinking). rock on!!
