Summary: It is G! You people need to fix that marked rating.
Review: My name is Adam, and despite the fact that I like action packed films, this one is still one of my favorites. I love the way it is filmed, and how they found the perfect acors for the job. I recommend this film to any and all. Believe it or not I am 6 ft 1 and 200 lbs and 16 years old, some people think that it is strange that I would like this movie, but we all have little kids inside us that love this type of film. If you have a tender heart, then I promise you will be crying by the end of the film. I didn't personally, but it hit my mom pretty hard :)

Summary: This is the best book ever written!
Review: This is a must read book! I have read it about 20 times and I loved it every time! It is a fasinating story telling about how a young girl named Sara Crewe goes to live in a select seminary school where the head mistress treats her kindly because her father is very rich. Then when Sara's father dies of brain fever, she must work for the head mistress, Miss Minchin, in order to keep on living there. She is treated like a drudge and has few comforts. Then her father's friend discovers her and takes her and her friend to live with him. This book has a happy ending, but not too happy to seem realistic. I recommend it to anyone young or old. You won't regret reading it. This book is one in few that deserves more than 5 stars.

Summary: Excellent Movie, poor quality DVD reproduction
Review: The movie A Little Princess is excellent. It is well filmed, with great acting and a wonderful story.

The film is RATED G.

Unfortunately, buying the movie on DVD will only benefit in audio with 5.1 digital sound. The video quality is VHS grade at best. It is extremely grainy and the colors aren't even constant from one frame to the next. One side of the DVD is supposed to be Letterbox, the other pan 'n' scan; however, both sides have the same image! I tried to contact Warner Brothers with no response on this problem.

My overall recomendation, see this movie but don't waste any extra cash on the DVD version.

Summary: My favourite children's book
Review: I have read this book so many times the pages are loose. It is the best children's book ever. I still curl up to it on snowed in days next to the fireplace. A must have

Summary: This story should be shared with every little girl you know
Review: This was my favorite book as a child. A Victorian fairy-tale about an orphaned rich girl who finds inner-strength through her intelligence and imagination to overcome adversity. Burnett brings Sara's world to life and makes it as rich as all the spices in India. Sara is a wonderful heroine -- strong, independent and brave. I have passed this story along to many other little girls. No child should be without this book.

Summary: A Little Princess is a royal book.
Review: A Little Princess is one of my favorite books that I have ever read. Sarah is a little girl whose father went off to war. With her mother living in heaven, Sarah has no choice but to go to a boarding school until her father comes back. I love her personality and always wanted to be like her. She's brave, kind, and never screams, but makes up wonderful stories and can always be there to help someone-including herself.

Summary: A Little Princess is the greatest book I have ever read
Review: I read this book for the first time when I was a wee second grader. I've read it every summer since. The story of Sara Crew, born in India, brought to a London girls' school by her beloved father, suddenly left orphaned and penniless and at the mercy of the school's cruel headmistress, Miss Minchin, living through it all with the power of her wonderful imagination, is a fascinating tale that will hold the attention of elementary school children, not to mention anyone else who is lucky enough to read it. It is not just a good story, though. It also teaches the importance of such things as imagination, kindness, faith, good will, generosity, tolerance, justice, and hope. I think this is the ideal book for a young reader -- or for anyone who's in need of a great story.

Summary: From "Ermengarde"
Review: I've always liked the story of Sara Crewe and her life as a little princess, but I love this book for even a better reason: I took part in a musical version of this play! I played Ermengarde, for those of you who have read the book, and I loved it! It was most fun because I felt like a part of the story every time. Well, enough of that, but all I can say is I love this book! Even for those of you who aren't into the classic literature thing, I think you will love this. The characters are very detailed, and you love to hate Miss Minchin! (hee, hee!)
